Madi's pov:

"I call picking the movie" Ali said sitting on the couch

"No wait I wanna" Nick said sitting next to her. (btw Ali is friends with Nick too)

I laughed lightly and went to the kitchen with Nate following me

I put my cup in the sink and when I turned around I was face to face with him (a/n IM CRINGING SO HARD RN AHHHH THIS IS TERRIBLE)

"Hi" I smiled

He smiled back before leaning down and kissing me lightly (A/n: no just no 😭)

I pulled away for a moment "Nate" I whispered "Someone could walk in here at any moment" I laughed

"I couldn't care less" he said kissing me again. (a/n: I can't do this 😭)

I wanted to kiss him back but I couldn't risk someone seeing us, so I pulled away

Nate's pov:

I sighed as she pulled away from me

"Sorry" I said

"Nate" she said "I can't keep, kissing you if there's no meaning to it"

"But there is a meaning to it" I said

She leaned against the counter with her arms crossed "Nate I get the whole commitment thing" she said looking at me and then looking down "But I can't pretend like I don't want more"

"And I want more too" I said "I'm just..." I just trailed off

"I get being scared" she said "I really do trust me, but if I have to try and get over it then you should too"

"I know" I said "and I want too"

"Nate I really really like you. And I wanna be with you, but if you're not ready I get it" she said "but I can't keep-"

"I am" I cut her off

"What" she said looking at me shocked "I don't want you to say something just because I want you too"

"I'm not saying it because you want me too" I said "I'm saying it because I mean it"

She had this hopeful look in her eyes

"I wanna be with you" I said

"Me too" She said taking a step closer to me (a/n this is actually insane😭)

"Madi" I said "can I be-" I was cut off

not by her though

Of course it was Matt who had to ruin the moment

"I'm just getting a water" he said coming into the kitchen "oh hey" he said walking past us into the fridge

I sighed

We went to sit on the couch with Nick and Ali

Madi's pov:

I sat down and Nate sat next to me

I could feel the tension

Ali cleared her throat "mhm!" She gave Matt and Nick a look

"What?" I said looking at her

"Mhm.. nothing, what, why you looking at me like that" she said leaning back against the couch

Nick looked over at me and Nate then turned to look at Ali and whispered something.

Ali started laughing
