I guess It was obvious that I was looking at her, because everyone around me defiantly notices me looking around frantically trying to figure out where she went

Chris gave Matt a look then tapped my shoulder, "She went to the kitchen" he said pointing in the direction of the kitchen

As I turned to look I saw Madi glance at me and then go into the kitchen

I quickly looked away, I tried to cover it up by looking around the room one more time, "Hmm.. who?" I asked taking a sip from my drink, I am not playing it off good at all.

Matt and Chris both exchanged a look "Mhm." Matt said crossing his arms.

I gave him an annoyed look

I looked around for a moment then said, "I'm gonna go get another one" slowly backing away

"Mhm." Matt laughed. "You gonna go get a phone number too." Matt said.

I quickly flipped both Matt and Chris off then headed into the kitchen

And there she was, leaning against the counter with plastic red cup in her hand talking to her friend I'm guessing?

I walked past them hoping that she would maybe look at me, and I opened the fridge looking for maybe a Pepsi

Behind me I heard Madi laughing,

"you're so real for that" she said. I knew it was Madi's voice cause I've heard her speak before.

"Oh my god he's here!" The girl she was with said.

"Oh my god go, go, go, go!!" Madi laughed.

I smiled at her voice. I luckily found a Pepsi

I closed the fridge to see Madi alone now

I gave her a small smile and leaned against the counter across from her

Madi's pov:

I could be social to the people I feel comfortable around but sometimes I had no clue what to say

Ali loves going to parties she didn't really feel like going to this one but she only went because this guy she likes is supposed to be here.

I then noticed across from me was Nate standing there

We made some eye contact a couple of times and I was trying to build up confidence to say something. Me and Nate never really talked at all.

I just went for it and told myself theres no turning back now.

"Hey Nate I didn't know you were coming to this party." I said.

"Yeah, I decided to show up." He says.

Nate's pov:

She's literally standing next to me.

"Yeah I saw you before" She said, "You were with Matt and Chris." She said pointing to Matt and Chris across the room.

"Yeah." I said "I saw you too" I looked away from her and at Chris who was looking at me.

"Where's Nick?" I asked her.

"Nick didn't really wanna come, you know he's not really into the whole party thing." She said.

"Me neither I just kind of came to hangout with Matt, and Chris and some other people." I said taking a sip of my drink.

Madi is really good at listening she's so pretty too.

"Me neither" She laughed. "I just enjoy dancing and hanging out." She said.

"You looked like you were having a lot of fun out there." I laughed.

"You were watching me?" She asked jokingly.

Oh sh*t now I sound creepy, "what" I said, "well no- I wasn't looking, I- just oh my god" I said embarrassed. I probably looked stupid.

"I'm kidding." She laughed a bit. "I guess I was looking at you too" She smiled.

This time I saw both Matt and Chris looking at me from across the room again.

They both made a face and I swear I just wanted to disappear

The song that was playing changed and so did Madi's face, "I love this song" she said smiling.

It was M.O.M by lil skies (thanks to the girl or boy who's story is kind of guiding me through this again btw)

"You listen to lil skies?" I asked smiling.

"Yeah some songs, Chris introduced me to him." She says. Madi looked around the room and then met my eyes.

"His lyrics are so good." She said.

"They really are." I say.

Just then the girl she was talking to was waving over for her to come dance.

"Oh that's my best friend Ali" She says
"I'm gonna go dance some more before the song ends" She said starting to back away slowly.

"Bye Nate." Madi said walking away to her friend.

"Bye Madi." I say back.

I wanted to talk to Madi more and maybe get her number, cause me and Madi have never really talked at all till today

As she was walking away with her friend to the living room Madi took one last glance back at me.

A/n:

I AM SO TIRED! Writing two stories in one night is hard but it was worth it. Huge credits to this one person who made something like what I'm writing cause it is really helping me a romantic thing or whatever
