Third-Person POV.
Her bloodshot eyes squinted as she observed the four women who calmly walked into the endless walls of the labyrinth. The bloodsucker recognized the demigoddess, for she was the most popular half deity among her sisters and brothers. Even the great healer was not able to surpass the publicity of the all-knowing being. However, the vampire recognized the two light haired women among the four. Both possessed light blonde hair, though the taller one leaned into a darker shade of blonde. One had striking yellow eyes meant to deceive the opponent with a false promise of joy and happiness, only to be met with a different definition of yellow, hazardous, cautionary, and risky. On the other hand, the other blonde had calming ocean blue eyes, stare too long and you'll witness the majestic waves of the ocean in them, that was if you haven't drowned in them yet. There was a sense of light in her orbs, but it was too small that the human eye would not be able to see it, no, for only the deepest, darkest depths of the Mariana Trench covered most of her blue eyes.
Oddly enough, they even brought a sex demon with them.. one of the most dangerous kinds of all. The bloodsucker wondered what good will a succubus bring to a battle, but then again, their powers were not to be underestimated. The vampire knew those women wouldn't last too long at the entrance, for they had a mission, to kill the bothersome witch that abruptly appeared in the labyrinth. She wished they would have at least stayed for a bit.. so her lonesome could bask in the presence of other people, but before she knew it, they had already left, and she was, once again, alone.
Meanwhile, in the depths of the labyrinth, between the towering walls, and the narrow hallways, several footsteps marched with no hint of reluctance or uncertainty. The woman who led the group had no problem following the scent of the dark witch, for she could sense her from continents away. However, the dark witch was the least of her problems. Even as she ran her hand through her hair, and as her silver orbs scanned her surroundings, she felt no fear, nothing.. but annoyance. One would assume it's directed towards the dark witch and while Gaia would agree with a laugh, behind her smile, she'd never say it's because of the eyes watching her every movement.
She's here, and she's watching me, the demigoddess thought as she gritted her teeth in frustration. However, as to not alarm those with her, she remained calm and continued walking, acting as if she could not feel the eyes that desperately burned holes into her back. If she made even one quick glance at the eyes that stared at her, she knew that bitch wouldn't hesitate to take that action as a challenge. Thus, Gaia kept walking with her eyes trained on her path.
"Ugh, are we there yet? I'm so fucking ready to kill this son of a bitch." The princess whined, throwing her head back impatiently as she followed behind the others.
Much to her disappointment, no one responded to her complaints. The half deity was too busy resisting the urge to look into the eyes of her stalker. Meanwhile, the queen could not bear to look or even to talk to her own sister, thus, she kept quiet. Last but not least, the succubus was too nervous to respond, for her tortured mind was replaying the moments when she and Gaia found their little one in the forest, unconscious and traumatized by dark magic. Willow felt that her companions were a bunch of killjoys, and perhaps they were, for each one of them was too preoccupied with their minds, too busy to spare a glance or even a simple nod to the woman they were all fighting for. Then again, the woman they would risk their life for.. did commit the greatest sin against them, and she did so without consulting anyone first.
"Damn, nice talking to y'all." Rolling her eyes, the princess crossed her arms and scoffed.
One last sacrifice... Then I will no longer help her, the queen thought even as her heart hurt to even think about it. Weiss could no longer count how many times she went out and did everything for her little sister. All the times she spent repairing the image of Willow "the Whore" Hudson, all the times she gave her sister a chance by offering her a job as a professor, all the times she had to beg her sister to act like a princess, to be a Hudson, and all the times she held her little sister in her arms, wiping her tears away, and telling her everything will be alright.. everything she did was always for Willow, but this was the last straw. She could only tolerate so much, but when it comes to betraying their own family, that's where she drew the line.
