Jet's POV:

"You know what? Dad's really happy about our win. He regrets not being there nga eh," said Joey who's full of enthusiasm and excitement this day.

"That's nice. Mukhang okay na talaga kayo ng dad mo." - me.

He dropped his drink and looked at me straight in the eyes, "Oo nga eh. I actually can't believe it. But he's really changing for the better."

I smiled at him, "I'm happy for you."

Joey called me out to eat with him this lunch time at the cafeteria. Hindi nya usually ginagawa to. And most of the time, I stay at the room with my friends. It turned out pala kasi, sobrang happy lang ni Joey about sa reaction ng dad nya sa win namin two weeks ago. Like my parents, hindi rin nakapunta yung sa kanya and recently nga lang nalaman ng dad nya na we won eh.

"Eat some more. Treat ko naman to eh." - Joey.

"No. I'm fine. I feel full na," as I shyly turned down his offer.

Joey stood up, bought some more snacks and laid it down on our table. He sat back and placed both his hands on his chin and placed it over the table. He smiled at me, "Please. Eat."

He looks really cute in his act that I'm trying my best to keep my composure, and not to blush in front of him. "Seriously?"

He maintained his position, still smiling, and raised his eyebrows alternately, "Yes. Seriously. I'm feeling happy so I want to share it with you."

I took some of the food and placed it in front of him, "Okay then. Start eating." Then I chuckled.

Kahit ayokong isipin, parang date lang itong ginagawa namin. I feel so happy and excited inside. Ewan ko if it shows, pero di naman nag cocomment si Joey ng anything weird. Yung smile ko, automatic, ayaw mawala. Sobra lang kasi yung warm and fluffy feeling sa heart ko ngayon.

"Can't it be just like this all the time?" I thought to my self. In these moments I'm so happy. Parang accepted ko naman na hanggang ganito nalang kami. And with these much, I can't ask for any more. Kasi, kahit siguro dumating yung chance, though impossible, na he'd really ask me to be in a relationship, I think ako na rin mismo yung mag hehesitate. I can't risk it. I can't make a mistake that would blow my whole life and my family's to pieces. That's why moments like this. Stolen moments like this, they are the ones I cherish and treasure the most.

"O nag space out ka?" - Joey.

I snapped my self back to the present and took a sip of my drink, "Hehehe, just thinking."

When I came back home that day I noticed that our workers seem to be very busy. I don't really know what they're working on but everyone seems so occupied. Then the next thing, I'm already up in the air, someone's carrying me up, holding my waists.

"Big boy na baby namin ha." - kuya David.

"Bring me down kuya...bring me down."

He did not put me down, obviously. Instead, he even carried me around and around. He's laughing hard and seems to be enjoying himself, "Wooohooo. Airplane. Superman. When you were younger lagi mo ko kinukulit to carry you."

"Di na ko baby kuya. Please. Ahhhhhh...hahahahahah." He put me down but now he's tickling me. Anong laban ko sa giant na to.

He stopped while I gasp for air. We sat down at the sofa in the living room. He then told me, "Di ka na nga baby. Ang bigat mo na Jet."

"Finally. Now you see."

But then he threw a pillow at me. "Pero you'll always be our baby. So accept it." Then he laughed like the devil himself.
