Pang-dalawampu't Dalawang Slice

Jet's POV:

"Yup. Near the concierge, got that. See you." After hanging up, I stood over my bed and started jumping like crazy.

"YEEES!!!! Hahahahahaha! Yahoooo!!!"

I did a big jump and finally laid my body back on bed. Joey just called to ask me to go with him to the mall tomorrow. Tomorrow's a Saturday so I'm free. Kasi lahat ng requirements ko for next week, they're all just waiting to be passed. One month na silang nag stay sa drawer ko.

"Oh my OCness. Hehehe."

Parang it's weird nga kasi it's very sudden. Now that I think of it, this is the first time na we're going out. Excluding , of course, our team trips when we compete else where.

"Maybe something good came up."

I rolled over, opened my phone and searched for our picture together.

"You ha. Mr. Lee! You forgot to greet me on my birthday, late ka sa holiday greetings. But now bumabawi ka ha. Hihihihihihi."

Silliness is just all over me when it comes to things involving Joey. I can't help it. It's like volts and currents of electricity are always running on me. I put my phone away and rolled again.

"Ganito naman talaga pag in love, kinikilig."

"Whaaat? Kinikilig? Hahahahaha. Me? No way! Hahahaha! Di bagay! Yuck!!!"

Come to think of it, very stable na si Joey ever since nung last incident nya. Hindi na sya masyadong hot headed at wala na rin syang suspensions. I feel very relieved that he's finally sailing our last months smoothly.

"Wait. Shoot! Matawagan nga."

I took my phone and dialed a number.

"Erikson. What time ba tayo bukas?"

"Ahhh okay. No no. Yeah, I'll be there."

May coffee date kasi kami tomorrow ni Erikson. We usually do this, most of the time with Neil and Carl pero this time pass daw sila. It's in the evening so it's not in conflict with my day out with Joey. Besides, it's gonna be in the same mall so less hassle for me.

Tumayo na ko from my bed and went to my desk, I decided to read some chapters for our lessons. Pag lapit ko naman sa desk ko, I see agad itong very memorable and highly valued gift sakin ni Mr. Good Vibes. I took a hold of it and flipped through its colorful pages.

"Hayyy...thank's Richard."

I sat down down and started reading. While reading nag wander naman yung mind ko. Kasi naalala ko bigla si Richard. That guy's so funny. He's hilarious. I don't know if mababaw lang talaga ako pero yung mga stories nya super appealing sa laughing center ng mind ko. Maybe nga ang shallow ko kasi once, I tried to tell it kila Carl, hindi naman sila natawa. They even told me na I'm corny. Pero ewan, I find it funny talaga.

Nightly, happy pill ko na nga yung talks namin ni Richard. Sometimes, I go out talaga to see if he's there para lang mag laugh. He never fails me naman. Hopefully, he's not feeling sad. Kasi his dad left na weeks ago, health issues. But mukha namang hindi, always smiling and energetic sya eh.

"Dapat lang, kasi if not, hindi na sya si Richard. The mister good vibes and happy virus."

After some reading, I decided to hit the bed and doze off. Then morning came and I'm so ready to chase this blissful, wonderful and exciting day.

I showered a bit longer than usual. I want to be in my best today. I came to my closet and this is the cream of the crop, choosing my outfit. For today, I decided to go a bit risky. I chose to wear something childish. Denim shorts, mid thigh length, fitted; a white shirt with a large cartoon print that's one size bigger than the usual, white ankle socks, and this multi colored, somehow big, rubber shoes. I put on a cap, turned it around; and finally, my funky blue and green colored watch on my left; and Joey's bracelet on my right wrist, with my mom's bracelet.
