Y/N knocked on the door and entered the meeting room where Yaga and Gojo were seated. She didn't know why she had been summoned there, but she was looking forward to finding out. She walked over to them and greeted them with a small smile.
"So, I'm guessing you're wondering why I called you here, right?" Yaga asked as he leaned back in his chair.
Y/N nodded, confirming that she was indeed curious.
"Well, I need you to go on a mission for us." He took a deep breath and continued, "This time, you'll have to retrieve a cursed object instead of exorcising cursed spirits."
Y/N looked at him for more information, curious about the cursed object that she would have to obtain.
"This particular cursed object is a powerful and ancient one that has the ability to corrupt and control people's minds."
Y/N nodded, indicating for him to continue.
"We have reason to believe that this cursed object is located in the forest of Takayama," He continued, providing her with the exact location they needed.
The forest was known for its dark and ominous atmosphere, and the thought of hunting down a cursed object in such a place set a shiver up her spine.
"The shrine is abandoned, but the area is reported to be home to several cursed spirits," He added.
"The shrine is located in a small cave system in the forest, and the chances of you battling with several cursed spirits and potentially being corrupted by the cursed object are quite high," He said, making her feel even more nervous about the task ahead. "Gojo will be accompanying you, so you don't need to worry about being alone."
She gulped, knowing that this was an important mission she needed to complete successfully. She steeled herself for the journey ahead, determined to complete this objective.
"Do you accept this mission?" He asked her with a grim expression.
"Yes, I do," She responded with confidence. She was ready to rise to the occasion and take on this challenge. She didn't want to let anyone down, especially not Gojo.
"Good, go get ready then." Yaga replied, standing up. "The car is waiting in front of the gate. It will be a four hour journey." He looked at his wrist to see the time on his watch. "It's 5 a.m. now, so you should reach there by 9 if you start now."
He walked over to the door and opened it for Y/N to exit before he gave her and Gojo a final direction.
"You'll be dropped off at the nearest entrance of the forest of Takayama. From there, you two will have to make your way on foot to the shrine."
Y/N nodded and understood the directions, following Gojo out of the meeting room. They made their way over to the car that was waiting for them and they sat inside. The driver was already in the seat waiting for them.
