"I want to protect people and ensure that the next generation doesn't face the same dangers we did"

The warm afternoon sun cast a golden hue over the campus grounds, as Yaga and Y/N strolled along a tree-lined path. The gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze provided a soothing backdrop to their conversation. It had been a while since they had a quiet moment like this, away from the chaos and responsibilities that usually consumed their lives.

Y/N glanced at Yaga, a thoughtful expression on her face. She had always seen him as a mentor and father figure, someone who had been there for her through thick and thin. Today, their walk felt different, more reflective, as if they were at a crossroads in their journey.

"So, have you given more thought to your future here at Jujutsu High?" Yaga asked, his voice calm and steady. He glanced at her with a hint of curiosity, genuinely interested in her plans.

Y/N nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "Yeah, I have," she replied. "As I said before, I want to stay here and become a teacher. I want to help train the next generation of sorcerers, guide them, and make sure they don't face the same struggles we did."

Yaga nodded approvingly. "I think you'd make an excellent teacher. You've always had a natural talent for connecting with people, and your experience will be invaluable to the students."

They walked in comfortable silence for a few moments, the sound of their footsteps mingling with the chirping of birds. Y/N hesitated before speaking again, her thoughts drifting to her personal life. "I've also been thinking a lot about my relationship with Gojo," she admitted. "Things are going well between us, and... I really care about him."

Yaga chuckled softly. "It's obvious to anyone who sees you two together. You have a good balance. Gojo's... well, he's Gojo, but he genuinely cares about you. And you ground him in a way that no one else can."

Y/N laughed at Yaga's description, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, he's definitely unique," she said fondly. "But he's also kind and protective. He's been a constant support, especially after everything we've been through."

As they continued walking, Yaga's expression became more serious. "And what about Geto and Rei?" he asked, glancing at Y/N. "I've noticed the changes between them recently."

Y/N smiled, her eyes lighting up. "They're officially dating now. It's still new, but they seem really happy together. Rei brings out a softer side in nii-san, and he's been really supportive of her. It's nice to see them both finding happiness."

Yaga nodded thoughtfully. "They've both been through a lot. It's good that they have each other," he said. There was a brief pause before he continued, his tone more introspective. "It's interesting, isn't it? How things change and evolve. We all started this journey in different places, with different goals, and now look at us."

Y/N sensed a deeper meaning behind his words. She looked at him curiously. "What do you mean?"

Yaga took a deep breath, stopping by a small bench under a tree. He gestured for Y/N to sit beside him. "You know, Y/N," he began, his voice soft, "I've seen you grow so much since you first came here. From that scared girl who was trying to find her place in the world, to the strong, compassionate woman you are now. It's been an honour to be a part of your journey."

Y/N felt a lump in her throat, touched by his words. "Yaga... you've been like a father to me," she said, her voice thick with emotion. "You've always believed in me, even when I didn't believe in myself. I don't know where I'd be without you."

Yaga smiled warmly, placing a hand on her shoulder. "You don't need to thank me. You've worked hard and earned everything you've achieved. But... there's something I've been meaning to ask you."

Y/N looked at him expectantly, her heart beating a little faster. "What is it?"

Yaga hesitated for a moment, as if choosing his words carefully. "Now that you're planning to stay on as a teacher, and with everything that's happened... have you thought about how you want to shape your future? Not just in terms of your career, but your life as a whole?"

Y/N frowned slightly, considering the question. "I guess I haven't thought about it in a concrete way," she admitted. "I've been so focused on the present—on training, missions, and everything that's been happening. But I know I want to make a difference. I want to protect people and ensure that the next generation doesn't face the same dangers we did."

Yaga nodded, his expression contemplative. "That's a noble goal," he said. "But remember, it's also important to think about your own happiness and well-being. You deserve a life beyond just duty and responsibility. A life where you can explore your passions, build meaningful relationships, and find your own path."

Y/N listened intently, taking in his words. It was true; she had often neglected her own desires and dreams, focusing instead on her responsibilities as a sorcerer. She glanced at Yaga, feeling a deep sense of gratitude. "I will," she promised. "Thank you, Yaga. For everything."

Yaga smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Of course, Y/N. Just remember, whatever path you choose, we'll always be here to support you. You're not alone in this."

They sat in companionable silence for a while longer, the sun dipping lower in the sky. It was a moment of reflection, a quiet pause in the whirlwind of their lives. Y/N felt a renewed sense of purpose and determination. She knew that the road ahead would not be easy, but with the support of her friends and mentors, she was ready to face whatever challenges came her way.

As they finally stood up and continued their walk, Y/N felt a sense of peace and clarity. She had a lot to think about and plan for, but she knew that with the people she loved by her side, she could carve out a future that was meaningful and fulfilling. The journey ahead was hers to shape, and she was ready to embrace it with open arms.
