Y/N and Geto emerged from the building, the weight of their unfinished task pressing down on them. The streets of Kyoto were still bustling, but the sense of unease lingered in the air. They needed to regroup and plan their next move carefully.
"We should find a place to rest and strategize," Geto suggested, his eyes scanning the area for a suitable spot.
Y/N nodded, feeling the exhaustion from the battle start to set in. "There's a tea house nearby that seems quiet. We can go there."
They made their way to the tea house, a quaint establishment with a serene atmosphere that contrasted sharply with the tension they felt. After ordering some tea, they sat down in a secluded corner, their minds racing with thoughts of the curse user.
"We need to figure out his weaknesses," Y/N said, taking a sip of her tea. "He's powerful, but he's not invincible. The Blizzard technique slowed him down, and the Static Blade seemed to hurt him more than we expected."
Geto nodded thoughtfully. "His energy barriers are strong, but they're not perfect. If we can find a way to bypass them or weaken them further, we might stand a better chance."
Y/N leaned back, considering their options. "We also need to be prepared for his dark energy attacks. They're unpredictable and dangerous. Maybe we should focus on enhancing our defences as well."
As they discussed their strategies, Y/N felt a sense of determination growing within her. They had come so far, and she was not about to let one setback deter them from their mission.
"I can work on refining my Armour of Ice," She suggested. "If I can control it better, I might be able to use it without draining too much of my energy."
Geto smiled, his confidence in his partner evident. "And I'll focus on strengthening our offensive capabilities. My cursed spirits can be more effective if we coordinate our attacks better."
They spent the next few hours discussing various tactics, refining their techniques, and planning for different scenarios. By the time they left the tea house, they felt more prepared and confident in their ability to face the curse user again.
The week leading up to their next encounter was filled with intense training and preparation. Y/N worked tirelessly on mastering her Armour of Ice, learning to activate and deactivate it with greater efficiency. She also practised her Blizzard and Crystallize techniques, ensuring she could use them with precision and control.
Geto, on the other hand, focused on summoning stronger cursed spirits and coordinating their attacks with Y/N's abilities. They sparred together, pushing each other to their limits and honing their teamwork to perfection.
