Y/N and Gojo stood outside Yaga's office. They had brought back the cursed object from their mission. They felt nervous and tensed about the whole situation, wondering how Yaga would react once he saw his old student again.
As they thought about it, Yaga opened the door. "Already done with the mission?" He was pleased to see them return back safely. He did not expect them to come back so quickly but he was glad that everything went smoothly.
"We completed the mission. No issues at all." Gojo replied, with a slight smile. "Here's the object," He handed it to the principal.
Yaga took the cursed object and examined it carefully. He looked at it from multiple angles, observing its strange magical properties.
"I'll send this to the headquarters." Yaga said, "You can go back and rest now."
Y/N looked at Gojo, who nodded slightly, before they spoke up.
"There is something we have to talk about, actually." She began to speak, their voice slightly shaky with anxiety.
"What is it?" Yaga asked, raising his eyebrows slightly.
She looked to her side as she motioned for someone to come forward.
She moved to the side, allowing Geto to walk up to Yaga. He had prepared himself mentally and was now ready to face the principal.
"I'm back." He said. "I- I know I left a lot to be desired, but I want to apologise to you all for my behavior. I've become a different person during this past year and I want to redeem myself."
Yaga remained silent at first. He hadn't expected to ever see Geto again, especially after all that had happened. His emotions were mixed up and this sudden encounter had left him stunned.
"You have a lot of apologies to give." Yaga finally said, "Especially to Gojo and Y/N because you betrayed them, didn't you?"
"I- I did." Geto replied, "That was completely unforgivable." He said, his voice filled with regret, as he looked down at the floor, "I betrayed my sister and Satoru and the entire Jujutsu High, and I hurt everyone that I had cared about."
"I'm ready to face the consequences of my actions." He continued, "I will do whatever it takes to make things right."
He paused for a moment, as he finally gained the courage to look up at Yaga. "I know no one here will easily forgive me for what I've done." He said, "And I'm prepared to face harsh criticism and punishment. But I can't move on with my life unless I properly apologise to you all."
Yaga remained silent for a long time, as if trying to process everything that Geto had said. He didn't know what to say to him at first, but finally spoke up.
"You have certainly hurt me and a lot of people here." He began to explain, "But I'm glad you are willing to own up to your mistakes." He looked over at Y/N and Gojo. "I think they deserve the apology more than me. If they are ready to forgive you, then I don't have any problem."
