Y/N sat in front of Yaga's empty chair, patiently waiting for him to come and explain why he called her to his office. She was nervous about the sudden meeting and couldn't help wondering what it was about. She had a bad feeling that it might be something related to Geto.
Yaga opened the doors to his office and stepped inside, taking a seat behind his desk.
"So, what is it you wanted to talk to me about?" Y/N asked.
Yaga leaned back in his chair and spoke calmly, "It's more of a suggestion, as I don't intend to force anything."
She nodded her head understandingly. She was still a bit nervous but knew that she had to listen patiently to what he had to say.
He paused, thinking of the right words to say. He wanted to approach the subject gently and respectfully.
"I need you to hear me out," He began, trying to find the right way to phrase what he had to say.
"You've been through a lot of trauma and pain, it would be best for your mental health if you could join a therapy session."
She flinched slightly, feeling defensive at the suggestion. She hadn't expected that this was what the reason for the meeting was.
"I don't need therapy!" She snapped, "I'm fine."
He raised an eyebrow at her statement. He could tell that she was still struggling to deal with her past trauma.
"You're telling me that you're fine after everything you've been through?" He replied, his tone becoming more serious.
She flinched slightly at his bluntness but kept her head lowered, not wanting to look at him directly. Even though she still maintained her composure, she couldn't hide her discomfort either.
"That's not what I meant," She defended herself, "I just meant, I've healed and move on, I don't need therapy."
"Y/N," He spoke clearly. "No matter how much time passes, you will never truly heal if you do not face and confront your past trauma."
She was silent for a long time. She didn't want to admit it but she knew he was right. Even if she did think that she had moved on, it was still inside her. He was right, one way or another she had to go to therapy.
