“You're alive...”

Gojo and Geto stood frozen in shock, their minds racing with disbelief as they stared at the figure who was now standing before them. It was Dr. Misora Kobayashi, but they couldn't help but see the resemblance to the deceased girl, Riko Amanai.

Gojo was the first to break the stunned silence, his voice barely above a whisper. "How-how is this possible?"

Dr. Kobayashi looked equally stunned, her eyes wide and her face pale. "What...what are you saying...?"

Gojo took a step forward, his eyes narrowing as he studied Dr. Kobayashi's features closely. The resemblance to Riko Amanai was striking. "You're alive..." he said, his voice filled with a mixture of shock and confusion.

She shook her head, her eyes filled with disbelief. "Alive? What are you talking about...?"

Geto took a step forward as well, his eyes fixated on her. "We thought...we thought you were killed..."

Dr. Kobayashi's face paled even further, her eyes widening in horror. "Killed? What do you mean?"

Gojo's expression hardened, his voice taking on an even more serious tone. "You...you don't remember?"

She shook her head again, her hands shaking slightly. "No...no, I don't understand. I don't know what you're talking about... How do you know that name?"

Gojo and Geto exchanged a look, both of them still struggling to process what was happening. The revelation that Dr. Kobayashi, or rather Amanai, was alive and seemingly had no recollection of her past life was almost too much to comprehend.

Y/N stood there, feeling like an idiot for not understanding the situation. She stepped in front of the white-haired with her arms crossed. "What the hell is going on? Why am I left out in the dark?"

Her boyfriend sighed and explained, "I understand your question, but we also don't know what's going on." He took a deep breath and turned to Amanai. "We need to talk. Can we go somewhere private?"

The woman frowned. "Why? I've never met you before, and I'm definitely not someone who'll go somewhere with a stranger. I don't know how you know that name, but you're mistaking me for someone else."

Gojo's expression tightened, his frustration and confusion evident in his eyes. "We're not mistaking you for someone else," he said, his voice firm. "You're Amanai... we know you are."

Dr. Kobayashi shook her head again, her hands balled into fists. "No, I'm not," she said, her voice trembling. "I don't know what you're talking about." With that, she walked away quickly, as if trying to avoid conversation with them.

Geto made a move to run after Dr. Kobayashi, but Gojo held him back with a firm hand on his arm.

"Wait," Gojo said, his eyes fixed on the woman's retreating figure. "I don't think she wants to talk to us."

Geto looked torn, his desire to get answers warring with the woman's obvious reluctance. "But...we need to talk to her," he said, frustration evident in his voice.

Y/N rested her hands on her hips as she furrowed her brows. "Of course she won't talk to you. She doesn't know you," She clicked her tongue. "What the hell was that all about?"

Gojo sighed. "You remember the star vessel I told you about, right?"

The purple-haired nodded. "Riko Amanai, right? Killed by Megumi's dad?"

"I don't know if killed can be used now," Geto pursed his lips. "That therapist of yours, she looks exactly like Amanai. When I say exactly, I mean exactly like her."

Y/N sighed. "I don't know what is going on, but I'll talk to her during my next therapy session if you want."

Geto shook his head. "Don't do that. She seemed like as if she was trying to avoid the topic. Did you see the reaction when we called her Amanai? She kept asking, 'how do you know that name'."

"But what should we do then? If she's really that girl, there is something fishy going on then," His sister replied.

Gojo nodded in agreement. "You're right," he said. "Something smells fishy about this situation. But we clearly can't force her to talk to us if she's not willing. And besides, we don't have any proof that she's really Amanai."

Geto sighed, his brow furrowing in irritation. "Then what do we do? We can't just let this go. We need to find out the truth."

"We could keep tabs on her," Gojo suggested. "See if anything else is off. But we need to be discreet about it. We don't want to scare her off."

Geto nodded in agreement. "Yeah, and Y/N can try to talk to her during her next therapy session without making it seem like we're investigating her."

Y/N bit her lip, looking uncertain. "Are you sure that's a good idea?" she asked.

Gojo nodded again. "It's worth a shot," he said. "Just be careful not to make her suspicious. Ask her questions casually, and see if you can glean any information."

Geto crossed his arms over his chest. "But if she's really Amanai and doesn't remember anything about her past, we have a big problem on our hands," he said, a hint of worry in his voice. "What could have caused her to lose her memories? And why does she have a new identity now?"

Gojo looked thoughtful for a moment, a determined expression settling on his face. "I have an idea," he said, a gleam in his eye.

Geto and Y/N looked at him expectantly. "What is it?" Y/N asked.

"We can't just assume that she's Amanai based on appearances alone," Gojo said, his voice serious. "We need some solid proof. And I think I have a way to get it."
