Sometimes I wonder if all the
places in the world are but an
illusion.
Every place I’ve never been
is nothing more than a
fantasy.
Maybe minds are wiped as they
enter cars, buses, airplanes, trains and new
footsteps.
Then does that mean that all of
the places I’ve been are only
fiction?
Have I wandered to places
of new and old that don’t even
exist?
Am I but another face
blinded by this farce that is the
world?
It does not seem that such
a large world is
possible.
I am being slighted by a
humanity that gets to
see.
How do I know that
they are not all
lying?
There cannot be anything
out there, outside my little
square.
But what of
my square
home?
Is it a
false reality
too?
I cannot
bear the
thought.
So let’s not think
about this world outside my
box.
