Y/n pov:
We were landing and getting ready to go to sleep. Appa was shedding so everything smelled. We all played a bit in his shedding
"I'll get the fire wood" I offered mostly to get away from the smell.
"Yeah I'm sure you would" Sokka scoffed. He was still mad at me for my relationship with zuko.
"Alright you do that sis" Aang confirmed, he was worried about me. I don't blame him but it felt weird I used to be the one always worried.
I yawned gathering sticks then brought them back.
"Alright I got a match right here" Sokka snatched the fire wood from me and stacked them neatly. he lit the match only for it to go out immediately.
I chuckled, Sokka gave me a dirty look.
"Can I do it?" I suggested
"No! Traitors don't get to lite the fire!" Sokka yelled
"What's your beef with Y/n?" Toph asked
"She betrayed us" Sokka exclaimed
"I dated someone who is causing problems for us" I explained.
"Hm does this guy like you back?" Toph asked.
"Yeah he does" I smiled faintly.
"Fire benders don't love!!" Sokka yelled
"Y/n clearly does!" Katara stepped in
"Can we all just go to sleep?" Aang asked quietly
"Sure sorry to keep you up"
"But the fire!" Sokka whined. I rolled my eyes, and soon fell asleep...
Only for us to be woken up by toph yelling
"Someone's coming!" She woke us up.
"Who would this late at night" I complained.
"I don't know but they're made of metal!"
"Oh please how is that possible?" Sokka questioned sarcastically.
"If you don't believe me look!" Toph sent Sokka flying upward with a rock piller. He screamed.
"Well I guess you're right let's go!" Sokka urged us.
We begrudgingly got back on appa. We looked and saw the giant metal train looking thing. the wind told me it was fire nation, specifically Zuko's sister and friends. Wait zuko's sister?? my eyes widened as we flew farther away. We ran into them recently didn't we?
"What? do you know them?" Sokka accused.
"no but they're from the fire nation" I explained
"then let's stay clear" Aang suggested.
we flew for a while but appa got really tired, I don't blame him either.
We all found another place to camp and katara and Toph started arguing.
"Should we do something?" Aang asked
"I'm just enjoying the show." Sokka Smiled
I tried to help but katara yelled at me
"I'm completely calm!!" Katara yelled.
"Sure ya are well good night" I yawned and went on appa to sleep.
Only to hear toph yelling.
"It's back!!"
"Aww what" I complained.
"C'mon let's just go" Aang suggested.
So we did leave an flew for a long while until appa was waaaay to tired to keep flying.
We all attempted to sleep but these blasted people found us again.
"Oh come on! That's it I'm fighting them!" I yelled in frustration
"You would do that wouldn't you fire bender!" Sokka shouted
"Hey calm down we're all just tired. Besides maybe they're friendly" Aang insisted.
We waited only to see Those three girls from ba sing se
"It's them!" Katara yelled.
"C'mon we can take them!" Toph smirked.
"We're too exhausted for that!" I voiced
No one listened. We were blasted with fire and small knives and arrows.
"Well we found out who they were so let's go!" Sokka yelled.
"For once I agree!!" We hurried to appa and flew off.
I looked back and noticed appa was still shedding.
once we landed again I decided to speak up
"Guys I think appa is leaving a trail!" I said.
"Are you sure you didn't just betray us?" Sokka questioned.
As I heard his words something in me snapped.
"LISTEN HEAR!! I WOULD NEVER BETRAY YOU!!" I shouted
"Yet you dated Zuko!?" Sokka yelled back.
"YES I DID ARE YOU JEALOUS OR SOMETHING!!"
"WHY THE HECK WOULD I? HE IS EVIL!!" SOkka screamed. I had enough
"I'm sorry i'm leaving"
"I will too" Toph agreed. I wasn't paying much attention, but i'm guessing she was arguing with Katara still.
"Wait you two can't just-" Aang pleaded
"-yes we can" Toph interrupted.
and we started walking, even though it hurt to walk away every step my mind screamed to turn around, I knew Sokka would ruin things.
I sighed and kept walking further and further with Toph.
