Hey I'm alive! I haven't updated in forever since I'm working on a professional book to try and publish. (Sorry it's a short chapter I'll try and do another one soon)

Y/n pov:

Toph and I walked for a long time until she suddenly stopped. She waited for a moment.

"Why are you still with me?" Toph questioned

"No where else to be I guess" I replied.

Toph grumbled something then turned her she struck the ground breaking a boulder a few feet away

We both heard an old man grunt in pain. Toph rushed over in a fighting position.

"Don't worry toph he's fine" I explained seeing Uncle Iroh.

Toph relaxed her stance a bit, and before I knew it we were all sitting around a fire drinking tea

"So you two know each other?" Toph asked.

"You could accurately say that" I replied.

"Vague much?" Toph huffed

"It's no worry y/n and my nephew are good whatever you wanna call it" Iroh laughed a bit.

I started at the tea in my hand. The cup carved from wood. I couldn't help but worry about zuko

"So where is this nephew is he lost?"

"In a way yes" Iroh responded

"Jeez no one here trust me with anything do they! You didn't even trust me to pour my own tea"

"I poured your tea because I wanted too and for no other reason" Iroh went on "you seem a lot like my nephew always thinking you can't have support, but there's nothing wrong with letting the people who love you help you."

"Not that a love you I just met you" Iroh laughed

"Good wisdom" I sighed.

"I think we should go back and help" toph told me

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yes. I think they're gonna need our help" Toph and I got up grabbing our bags and saying bye to Iroh.

It took a while but following the wind or as I claimed my gut feeling we arrived at a small town that was currently on fire

We ran closer and saw zuko's sister running so toph twisted the dirt to make her fall.

"We figured you could use some help" toph smirked.

"Thanks" aang smiled

The girl got up and tried to keep running eventually we cornered her and to my surprise we saw zuko with Iroh which surprised me.

"Well look at this traitors and enemies all working together" the girl said.

But she raised her hands in surrender. We remained still only for two strikes on lightning to go out one hitting Iroh in the chest. The other hitting me.

I could hear yelling from zuko and aang but I was falling unconscious...

I think I heard something a few times but I was hurting too much and fell back asleep...

Is this how I'll die?
Will I never see aang end the war?
Will I never be with zuko again?
Was it even worth it?

The answer is no.
I won't give up!
