Buffy and I were patrolling. I was filling in for Giles and watching out for Buffy as fought with a vampire. She had been knocked to the ground, but reversed somersaulted away. She stood strong in front of the snarling vampire and revealed her stake. The vampire lunged at her. She punched and kicked the vamp until finally plunging the stake into his heart. The vamp collapsed and burst into ashes.
"Three in one night. Giles would be so proud." Buffy declared, looking into the night sky.
"If it helps, I am." Buffy and I smiled at each other before we both headed home.
Suddenly, an earthquake started. Buffy and I looked around in concern as the trees shook and car alarms sounded off.
