“So this is how strong water magic is,” I murmured, flipping another page.

I sat beside the lake, reading a book about magic and how to use it. Tatlong linggo na ang nakakalipas since I got reincarnated and started a new life in this world. I’ve spent that time learning as much as I could about it.

This is the world that came after the apocalypse, born from the final battle between angels and demons. After centuries of war, the angels finally triumphed. From their victory, a new world emerged, a symbol of rebirth, a second chance, a new era for the many races.

This is the world where magic exists: Galantiæ.

Magic here is divided into many different types—plants, rocks, waves, smoke, fog, poison, lightning, healing, beast taming, and more. New types continue to appear. But the four core elemental magics—Air, Fire, Water, and Earth—remain the second most powerful.

Only the royal family can possess the most powerful types,

Light and Dark magic.

It’s written here, “An ordinary person can only possess one type of magic. Possessing three makes someone a mage or one of the strongest individuals, ranked just below high magician—at rank 5th.”

This world has a ranking system.

Supreme Magician – Level 90–100

1st – Royalty – Level 70+

2nd – Royal Guards – Level 50

3rd – Priests – Level 45

4th – High Magicians – Level 43

5th – Mages – Level 40

6th – Witches – Level 35

7th – Magicians – Level 25

8th – Healers – Level 15

9th – Ordinary Magicians – Level 10

10th – Civilians – Level 2–5 (can't register as adventurers or merchants)

It’s strange, though—this book says that the Supreme Magician is the strongest of all, even above royalty. To reach that rank, one must achieve level 90 to 100.

Only one person ever reached that level, the 3rd Emperor, the strongest ruler ever to sit on the throne.

This world is also divided into nine races: Humans, Demons, Fairies, Elves, Dragons, Dwarves, Mermaids, Demi-Humans, and Monsters.

They signed a treaty, promising peace and mutual respect, avoiding war between races. All agreed—except the monsters. They’re treacherous beasts, strong and grotesque in appearance. But they resemble Earth’s animals but more bigger and larger, and surprisingly, their meat is high quality and edible, despite their disgusting looks.

Even the demons agreed to the treaty made by the 3rd Human Emperor, following countless wars under the reigns of the 1st and 2nd Emperors.

This world is also geographically divided:

Central lands (35%) – Humans

East (10%) – Mermaids (land and water)

West (15%) – Dragons (land and sky)

South (10%) – Elves, Fairies, Dwarves, Demi-Humans (in harmony and mutual protection)

North (30%) – Demons and Monsters

Tharklorj Thorius Eavergreèn, the 3rd Emperor, reached level 95 and became known as the Supreme Magician. He nearly defeated the Demon Lord of his time, but instead chose peace and created the treaty that governs the world today.
