I immediately had the children transferred to a clean room because we needed to sanitize Aisha’s room. It wasn’t safe to leave it unclean, there was a risk someone else could get poisoned.

They worked quickly. The cleaner slimes wiped away dust and cobwebs from every corner of the room, while the garbage slimes took care of the trash, even the blood that stained the bed and floor. I sprayed disinfectant from my Earth Store Dimension to purify the air and eliminate any bacteria or poison lingering in the space. Then I opened the window to let fresh air in.

I just smiled and burned the Kaluvac roots that Esmeralda had collected earlier in my hand.

"How's the kids?"nakangiti kong tanong saka pinagpagan ang kamay.

"Thank you for saving my daughter. Thank you.

"Youre welcome. So please stop crying I've had enough of that today."

“And I’m also grateful to you, Lily. Thank you. May the Holy Goddess bless you,” August added, and I gave him a warm smile.

“I’m blessed just hearing that,” I replied sincerely.

“To tell you the truth, Aisha didn’t have an illness. She was poisoned,” I said, and their eyes widened in shock.

“Poisoned!?” Esmeralda gasped.

“Yes, and not just any kind. Only 3% of the population in the entire world is exposed to this type of poison. And the cause? The roots of the Kaluvac plant.”

"Thanks to a book I read, I recognized the symptoms and knew the cure. I was also fortunate that you had Angelina herbs growing in your garden,” I finished.

“Oh my god. This is all my fault,” Esmeralda said, overwhelmed with guilt.

“If I hadn’t agreed to plant that Kaluvac heart in our yard… if I hadn’t been swayed by its beauty, none of this would’ve happened to Aisha!” she continued, blaming herself. August quickly tried to comfort her.

“No. This isn’t your fault. It’s that deceitful merchant’s fault! If he hadn’t claimed that plant would bring good luck to our home, this wouldn’t have happened,” August said through gritted teeth.

So there’s a culprit, huh.

"Salamat Laythildia.

“That’s why we need to remove every Kaluvac heart planted around your home as soon as possible,” I said immediately.

“But we still need the flowers. I’ll pick them later so Aisha can continue drinking the cure and fully recover,” I added, and they both nodded in agreement.

“As for the Luna Inn, I’ve decided to give it to you. It’s the least we can do to repay our debt to you,” August said, and I couldn’t hide my delight.

"So it's a deal.

We continued talking about important matters—Aisha’s treatment, the Luna Inn, and making sure the entire mansion was cleaned thoroughly for the children's safety. We discussed what Aisha should eat and drink the foods that I suggested during recovery. Later, we went out to the garden and collected Kaluvac flowers and Angelina herbs. Once we were done, I burned all the remaining Kaluvac roots and made sure the area was fully cleansed. I told them I’d bring more of the cure the next day so Aisha could continue her healing. And that’s where her suffering will end.

A lot happened today. I almost witnessed the end of a precious little angel’s life. But at least I’m sure now—we’ll be able to pay off the inn’s debt.

'Dear Goddess, thank you for the blessings. Please protect me and those who are important to me. Let Aisha heal and grow strong, keep her safe from the pain. And lastly, guide me tomorrow, my Goddess.' I prayed silently before pulling the comforter over myself and slowly drifting off to sleep.
