"it's uh...great" my dad smiles chewing on a piece of pasta that we cooked, we all start laughing as sam spits his out

"thats liftin'" he says taking a gulp of some water

"how can you mess up pasta?" my mum laughs at us followed by a cough, it's 9 o clock now, this is a lot later then she normally stays up.

but i'm assuming with everything that happened today and sam being here she's not exactly in the mood to go to sleep.

"we forgot it was cooking" i say throwing my hands up in defence, music is still playing lightly in the background.

my dad laughs shaking his head "how you two are adults we will never know. now i'm up for ordering some food"

it's 10 by the time the food has arrived and mum has fallen asleep on the sofa, we were all watching a film. me and sam on one sofa and my mum and dad on the other sofa.

my dad picks her up gently from the sofa carrying her to bed.

i stretch as i finish my bite of chips from the kebab, i am so full, the guilt is eating me alive but i know there is nothing i can do about it. sam is going to keep his eye on me forever now.

my dad returns with a smile "right kids i'm off to bed now, good night" he places a kiss on my head before giving sam a pat on the shoulder

"night dad" i smile yawning myself, sam places his hand on my thigh

"are you ready to go to bed?" he asks me which i return with a nod. he stands up with a smile and pulls me up.

we get into bed, me wearing his t shirt (purely just because i can) and sit in the dark cuddling.
we fall asleep in each others arms within seconds.

i wake up before lacy, the sunlight pouring through the curtains. i can hear her light breaths next to me.

she had somehow moved away from me in the night and replaced me with her teddy bear.

i yawn and look at my phone, nothing interesting, just dean complaining.

dean when i went upstairs to grab a charger i could hear lacy in the toilet being sick
dean at the time she told me she just wasn't feeling well but looking back what if she was making herself sick????

dean she said she was fine

sam she ate one slice of pizza and immediately went to the toilet
sam fuck all the signs were there

sam cba to do all of that romantic dates shit again, like whatever we're together

dean you've got to take her out on at least one date before you jump straight back into the relationship
