"i can't fucking do this" sophie growls at her boyfriend who looks like he is going to throw up any moment.

she has me on one side, dean on the other, she's gripping both of our hands

"one more push sophie" the midwife calls from the bottom of sophie

"you've got this sophie!" i cheer her on, she growls loudly squeezing my hand until it's throbbing.

"dean i swear to god we are never having sex again! actually forget that your never touching me again! look what you did to me!" she yells at her boyfriend

"yes ma'am" he mutters clearly scared of his girlfriend.

"nearly there sophie!" the midwife tells us before the sound of a baby crying fills the room, dean bursts into tears as the baby girl is laid on sophie's chest.

sophie let's out a deep breath before touching her daughter

"congratulations" the midwife smiles wiping the baby with a towel "i can confirm its a girl"

i leave dean and sophie while their baby adjusts to the new world, i spot sam immediately in the waiting room.

"is she here?" he asks excitedly as i sit down next to him, i nod and rest my head on his shoulder

"can we meet her?!" he asks clearly buzzing, i chuckle at him.

"when they are ready, poor soph her mum has had to get the next flight back from spain" i tell him

"what was it like? did you watch the baby come out?"

i laugh at him "no i stayed by her side the whole time, she squeezed the life out of my hand, don't think i'll ever be able to play piano again" i joke looking at my red hand

"i'm so excited to meet her!" he says like a little child, he melts my heart.

half an hour goes by before dean comes out with red eyes and a wide grin "she's completely healthy, do you want to come meet her"

sam basically jumps up and sprints into the room excited to meet his goddaughter. when we get in there sophie is now completely changed holding her daughter.

"look who it is!" she whispers down to her baby "uncle sam and auntie lacy!"

sam rushes to the side of the bed so he can look at the baby, i join his side and smile. she looks exactly like sophie, with long thick hair.

"oh she's so beautiful" i whisper taking her small hand, it wraps around my finger tightly.

"can i hold her?!" sam asks excitedly, dean laughs at his best friend.

"i've never seen sam so excited" dean laughs, sophie gently passes the baby to sam who takes her so delicately, he smiles down at the baby.

"hi baby" he whispers "i'm uncle sam, this is auntie lacy" he introduces, she opens her eyes slightly adjusting to the light.

"woah that's the first time she's opened her eyes" dean smiles taking a picture of his best friend and daughter.

"soooo have you got a name?" i ask excitedly stroking her small cheek. sam can't stop staring at her

sophie looks at dean who gives her a big smile "florence anne thompson"

"hi baby flo" sam smiles down at her "you are the prettiest girl ever"
