"and this is the 4th and final bedroom or what could be an office or playroom" our estate agent tells us as we walk into a bright bedroom upstairs.
"i'll leave you two to discuss, i'll be outside when your ready"
she leaves the room and i let out a sigh as i look at the room around us
"you don't like it do you?" sam chuckles at me, i look at him and then back at the room around us
"it just doesn't feel like- us" i huff "i don't know what i'm expecting, i just can't imagine us living here"
"you've said that the last 4 houses lac" he laughs at me looking out the window
"im sorry" i sigh joining him and resting my head on his shoulder
"it's okay, i don't want to force you to live somewhere you don't want to" he smiles at me placing a kiss on my head "especially if we're going to have a family and stuff in that house"
my stomach flips in a knot, he rarely mentions things like that. it must be playing on his mind then since all his friends are settling down.
"c'mon let's go tell miranda we don't like it" he says walking out of the room and to our estate agent
"oh i know that look" she says raising an eyebrow "it's a no?"
"sorry miranda, i know it's the 5th house but i just can't imagine us living here" i apologise to her looking at the kitchen
"that's okay, so the hunt continues" she smiles "you continue looking on right move and websites like that, i'll ask around. we will get you the right house, just have hope"
i smile at her last sentence and sam also notices her words as he looks at me with a smile.
once we've left the house we climb into sam's mercedes "d'ya want to go get something to eat?" he asks me
"yeah okay" i smile at him, my phone buzzing at the same time.
dad: hey trouble, just was wondering what the plans were for xmas this year, obviously things are different this year and it will also be a year since mum passed but i don't want that to change how much we enjoy christmas each year. let me know xx
"dad wants to know about christmas" i tell sam
"well we could hope we have a house by then, then he could come and stay. then no one will be by their selves" sam suggests
"you are a genius, guess that means we have to try even harder to find a house" i smile at him, sam sighs and places his hand on my thigh
"i'm happy living anywhere, it's completely up to you darlin"
"thanks for the pressure" i laugh placing my hand on top of his hand and relaxing at his touch.
he laughs at me "we will find our dream home soon enough"

"oh my god it's our dream home" i gasp looking around at the house, it's huge yet somehow still feels homey. the perfect place for us.
"it's amazing" sam agrees "d'ya think it's the one?"
"oh it's definitely the one"
