"how are you doing tonight sydney australia?!" the stadium roars around me, my heart is beating at rapid speeds with nerves.
the first night on tour, my first time playing in a stadium and i'm expected to not fuck this up.
"this is crazy" i sigh into the mic, my guitar hanging off me from the strap "you all look beautiful, i can see all 80,000 of you"
i take one of my in-ear-monitors out so i can hear the fans reaction to every word i say and it feels me with joy when i hear them all screaming and cheering
"this is my first time here in australia so i hope i don't fuck this up" i laugh "but thank you so much for having me here tonight! first stadium show, first show in australia and first show of the whole entire no tears left to cry tour!"
"this next song is one that is very special to me, it's called lover and it goes a little something like this" i smile as i strum the chords on my pink acoustic guitar and the crowd all cheer
sam woke up early this morning so he could wish me luck for my first night on tour. with the time difference we weren't sure how we would talk but we've figured it out.
he's even promised to watch a glitchy live stream of me on instagram

as tour went on i became more and more confident on stage performing to over 60,000 people every night.
from countries such as australia to countries in asia, the whole time the only thing i can think about is i can't wait to tour the uk.
because it means i get to see sam again.
he's been busied away with his own album, but we are still finding time to facetime and message everyday despite our time difference.
the plane to america from germany was a very bumpy journey but was worth it when i landed in sunny LA.
once i've collected all my bags and have been secretly pulled through the airport with security all around me i message sam to let him know.
lacy i'm here! america is bloody boiling, airport security is top notch tho, didn't run into one person. message me when your awake x
he messages back instantly as if he was waiting for my message. i'm stood in a private garden area outside the airport waiting for my car to arrive.
the place is surrounded in body guards, my manager, my tour manager and other staff that seem to follow me around everywhere like my choreographer.
sam ik it's so hot, at least our hotel has air conditioning x
my eyebrows furrow in confusion as i read his words over and over again

i spin around instantly to behind me where the glass doors to the airport are. my jaw drops as i see my boyfriend stood there with a bunch of tulips in his hand and a big cheesy grin on his face.
"what?!" i squeal running up to him and basically taking him out with a hug, i nuzzle my head into him while i jump up and down in excitement
"samuel thomas fender!" i squeal "you cheeky bastard!"
"surprise!" he smiles, i place my hands on either side of his face and kiss him for the first time in a month and a half. i savour every last second of it
"i missed you so much" i say once we pull apart, i rest my head on his chest and he kisses my head, clearly taking in the scent of my shampoo.
"i missed you too, the album is officially finished so i thought i'd come with you for the rest of your tour" he smiles
"you didn't tell me your album is finished!" i laugh walking us back over to the waiting area for our driver. even more security guards have joined us now.
"oh surprise number two i guess" he laughs before scratching his head "although there are two songs i need to show ya first before i release it, it's up to ya whether they are on the album or not"
i smile gently although inside i am nervous, if he needs my permission to release them they must be deep.
"ok" i whisper kissing his cheek before a black range rover pulls up.
"i can't wait to watch you perform tonight" ————
"how are you tonight LA?!" i shout into the mic, the whole stadium bursts into screams. not that i can see much from the stage but the front row that i can see there are many girls screaming and crying trying to reach me from the barrier
"wow soFi stadium" i breath "i think you might be the loudest crowd yet"
it's a lie, i say that every night. but whatever keeps the fans happy.
"tonight's a very special night, it's the first america show!" the crowd scream "it's the first show of the second leg of tour!" they scream again "i've got a few songs to add to the setlist" the crowd screams even louder "and my boyfriends in the house!"
that gets the loudest scream from the stadium, "yep somewhere up there" i smile pointing to the middle section of the stadium "everyone say hey sam!"
it's so loud not even my ear monitors can block out the fans. i laugh as i imagine sams cheeks turning red. he's in a private box with his own bar so he is sorted for the night.
"right LA" i say "are we ready to have some fun?! this next song is called dangerous woman!"
