"lover!" i call as i shut the front door to our house behind me, i've just come from a meeting with my management
"ya'alreet" he smiles running down the stairs and quickly pressing a kiss on my cheek "what'dya get up to?"
"well..." i say walking through to the kitchen where sam has been attempting to make a cake "they want me to go on tour" i tell him nervously
"really?!" he says swiping a bit of icing from the bowl on the kitchen side
"yeah, i said i'd talk to you first and then i'll let them know" i tell him, he takes another swipe of icing and puts in near my mouth, i open my mouth to suck the icing off his finger
"jesus sam how much icing sugar did you put in that" i laugh at the sweetness of the icing
"i dunno, the recipe said kg but i accidentally measured everything in grams" he tells me, i let out a laugh
"jesus"
"anyway why would you need to talk to me first about tour?" he asks curiously
"well because we won't see each other, they are talking a world tour with stadiums sam" i tell him, his face cracks into a big smile
"stadiums?!" he asks excitedly, i nod my head "lac you don't need my permission, you should be buzzing right now. your about to sell out stadiums"
i smile at his excitement "so you don't care if i go on tour?"
"no ya divvy, i'm not in control of ya career. this is huge for you darlin i'm not gonna stop that"
i smile and wrap my arms around his neck "i just love you more everyday" i smile kissing his lips gently, the remains of icing brushes against my lips
our moment is ruined by the oven timer beeping loudly signalling sams cake has finished baking
i untangle myself from him so he can get the oven mits and open the oven door, he pulls out the cake. all of the edges are burnt black.
"ah shit" he huffs
i laugh at him joining him at the kitchen island "god sam" i giggle, i knock the cake and it's rock solid "let's see if it's fixable lover"
"thank god your here" he smiles
