Fifty Three

|Amelia's POV|

"At least we have Dot" looking down at Dorothea who is a baby, thanks to Felix who had this witch friend Dorothea is now aging like a human baby. She looks to be about a year old now.

"Yeah" nodding my head in agreement, Felix tended and I see him look over "what?"

"Your biological family is here" he says "do you want me to get rid of them?"

Shaking my head no "Knowing them they won't go until I talk to them" leaving the room and going down the two flights of stairs, my room is on the third floor.

When I enter the living room, it's a nineteen eighties themed place. Don't ask me why "Your still here" seeing my sisters, mother and brother here including Addison. 

"Amy" Derek motions to sitting down "please sit down"

I take the spot farthest away from them "Why are you all still here?"

"We're worried about you" Nancy says "you just had a baby, a baby whose organs you donated"

"If your worried about me using I'm not" assuring them "you guys can go now"

"No" Addison shakes her head "your our family Amelia, your hurting. Please don't shut us out"

"You mean like how my siblings have been shutting me out my entire life?" I ask "or my oh so loving mother" mocking my mother "who couldn't stand to be near me or my brother who I thought loved me but really wanted me to have died all those years ago"

"I was in prison and angry" Derek argues "I wasn't thinking straight, you have no idea how sorry I am Amelia"

"You're the most like your father" we look over at mom who looks at me "after your father died, I just...I couldn't be around anything that reminded me of him. When your siblings were riding their bikes" waving her hand "you took the old bike with streamers and went after them, you always got back up after falling. Derek took over taking care of you since I was still in mourning. I'm so sorry kid, you deserved me as a mother like your siblings. Don't shut them out like I did with you"

"It still doesn't change the fact that barely any of you want me in your life" I say "you all see me as the screw I was when I first took Derek's pills and overdosed. I could have gotten drugs to help manage the pain of knowing my son was not going to have a brain.  Never be someone. A few days ago was supposed to be one of the happiest days of my life, me having a baby but it wasn't" standing up from where I was "you know the way out"

|Demetri's POV|

"Why" I ask DJ walking into the kitchen seeing DJ frosting a cake with chocolate "are you making a cake?"

"I gave away Jackson's room to Ramona and CeCe" she explains as she pulls out another cake "he'll be sharing with Max and Talon, he didn't really expect to be sharing a room with Max"

"So bribery is your next option?" Felix asks

"I'm softening the blow" she explains as Ruby enters the room with Amelia, after that small intervention with her family Amelia's family left. Though her brother doesn't seem to want to give up.

"Still haven't told him huh?" Amelia asks

"Told who what?" Jackson appears

"Jackson!" DJ exclaims "perfect timing! I baked you your favorite" she motions to the three cakes "chocolate cake" I sit down pulling Ruby to my lap, Ruby lays her head on my shoulder as Felix holds Amelia in his arms with Dot who is jingling some keys.
