Seventy One

"Okay" I show Hobbs and DJ their twins, I'm working at Seaside Wellness where Amelia works along with Addison and two other fertility specialists. Demetri has a job at St. Ambrose Hospital as the Head of Trauma since we were going a bit crazy at home, Felix normally would be keeping an eye on the farm along with Stephanie. Well Stephanie is on her own right now since Felix is on his honeymoon with Amelia, they are visiting Snake Island. Amelia likes snakes and with Felix the snakes won't attack and if they do he will attack "Here is baby A" pointing to baby A "and here's baby B..."

"What's with the pause?" Hobbs asks

"I'm just checking how they are positioned" pointing to how they are "see that" nodding their heads "they need to be flipped but given what you've tried and aren't turning around, DJ I'm afraid a natural birth isn't in the cards for you"

"Are you sure?" She asks

Nodding my head "I'm sure, there's very little space now and it could be painful if you try to have them be moved now—because your due date is literally tomorrow, I can have you be brought in for a C Section today"

"So" Hobbs asks "the girls will be coming out today?"

"Yes" wiping the gel off of DJ's belly, calling for an ambulance it takes about one hour before arriving to the hospital and admitting DJ.

When Stephanie and Kinmy arrive, they go to DJ's side who is both nervous and excited "We're having a baby!" Stephanie exclaims

"I know" DJ smiles

Kimmy makes this weird crying sound "What was that?" I ask

"A she cry" we stare at her "in honor of a baby" she begins to fake cry and she motions "come on you three, it's weird if I'm the only one doing it" I put my hands up on my head and do that weird cry with DJ and Stephanie, Hobbs has his arms crossed amused.

"Are you both ready?" Looking at Hobbs who is in his own scrubs when the nurses arrive, we have her wheeled up to an OR. Once here, Hobbs stays by DJ's head.

"How are they?" DJ asks

"I'm bringing out the first baby" Pulling out baby number one who lets out this loud wail. Hobbs and DJ both laugh "Here you go daddy" once the baby is wrapped up, Hobbs takes her looking down at her. I grab the other baby who is being stubborn and wants to run away.

Once I've got her out, just like her sister she wails out in rage. A nurse takes her to hand to Hobbs while I close DJ up. DJ is brought back to her room where she's resting up, Hobbs is most likely in the NICU with the twins. It's funny, I've always loved helping women have babies and making sure those who never want children don't have them and it turns out that that's my thing. I'm the Angel of Fertility. Guess some things make sense, you know?

After filling out the post op notes, I find Demetri in the cafeteria. Coming up behind him, placing my hands on his shoulders leaning down "I created a miracle"

Demetri turns his head to look at me "Oh really?"

"Helped DJ and Hobbs have two beautiful daughters" moving around to straddle him, Demetri smiles having his hands on my hips "What do you think Sky is doing?"

Shrugging his shoulders "Probably shitting, why?"

"I miss him" sighing sadly "and my tits feel like exploding"

Demetri stands up with me in his arms "Can't have that" he brings me to a closet, we don't know how but Demetri can be human in a way. After he drank my blood—I offered one day not wanting him to feed from this whore who had too much makeup on—his body changed. He doesn't need a daylight ring, his heartbeat is slow and he's able to do human things. I found it funny when he started to shit and piss for the first time, he was freaking out in the bathroom. He's still a vampire but...more like evolved.
