|Demetri's POV|

"That fucking mind reader" complaining to Felix as we are up on the roof in the shadows staring down at the entrance to the clock tower "thinks a blood singer is a soulmate?! He should die just for insinuating that!"

Earlier today, the mind reading Cullen came in begging for death when his blood singer jumped off a cliff to her death. Claiming she was his mate which is impossible since blood singers are basically drugs for us vampires. His only fascination was the blood this human pumped, that's it.

"I know" Felix agrees "I know...what was she like?"

Looking his way "You haven't asked me about RJ"
I haven't used her name out loud in years, I've been trying to look for her but nothing. Nothing and I'm slowly losing hope that I'll ever see her again. Why did she leave? Why did she leave? "Since finding out that I met her?"

"RJ?" He asks, his brows furrowed confused. He then asks "is she about this tall" motioning to height "dark brown hair with chocolate brown eyes? Her scent is blackberries, sweet musk and peonies?"

"Where is she?" A snarl comes from the back of my throat.

"Dude" he has me in a head lock "I've met her on several occasions, you never said she was a Morningstar!"

"What?!" Pulling away "no, Swan"

"That's her mother" he shakes his head, he pulls out his phone and shows me a picture of my mate who looks pregnant "I took that photo last year, during the Duel John Wick called" everyone in the Volturi knows about John Wick, the famous hit man who Aro wanted added to the coven. Someone like John Wick? The Volturi would be unstoppable, we already are but John Wick would all but ensure it. It's why Felix went to the duel, to turn the man. That if he lost, Felix would bite him and turn him but if not then at a later date. Then recently we found out he died, so Felix went to confirm it. But now...

"Why?" I demand "is that an engagement ring?!"

"Dude" he takes his phone away and stops me "she was John Wick's wife" everything in me freezes when he says this, staring at him as what he says processes through my mind.

"She married John Wick?" Repeating the words he just said "he's too old!"

He gives me a look before furrowing his brows looking at me "Was she a virgin when you two met?"

That is a random question and one he doesn't need to know about "That isn't any of your business" he stares at me "why?"

"Why did she leave?" He asks

"I don't know" shaking my head, we head beeping and look down seeing Alice Cullen drive a yellow Porsche with a human who... "It's her cousin"

"What?" He asks

Pointing to the human "That human, the one running to the square. She's RJ's cousin. Bitchella, RJ called her" Felix snorts "do you know why she left?"

"I have my suspicions" staring at him wanting to know, why did she leave? "At John Wick's funeral many suspected that RJ left Italy and never came back here was because she was raped" this deep rage bubbles inside hearing this "some say it was because her heart got broken, but one thing is in common"

"What?" I demand

"When she left Italy" he tells me "she was pregnant" Pregnant? Did she cheat on me? No! RJ would never do that! She said she didn't want to be like her dad and sleep around, that she only wanted to be with the man or woman she loved.

"How sure are you?" I ask as we watch that human run into that mind reader's arms, they then go into the clock tower.

"I met her son" he goes through pictures "he looks like you Demetri" quickly taking the phone from him, I look at the photo and I know RJ doesn't have blonde hair. The boy in this photo does look like me when I was younger.

"We need to go" Handing him his phone "don't let the ancients find out, I...I need to speak with her" heading to inside the clock tower, we find the mind reader holding the bitch and RJ's scent is much more evident on them. Especially the girl. I do admit that girl's blood does smell delicious, but not as delicious as my mate's.

"It seems" the mind reader says "I won't be needing your services after all gentlemen"

"Aro wants to speak with you again" Felix says

"Hello Bella" she looks my way "it seems we're finally being introduced" she looks confused "where's my mate?"

"What?" She asks

"RJ" the mind reader tells her "they're talking about"

"Where is she?" Felix keeps he mind reader away as I grabbed the human by her throat lifting her up, she kicks her feet in the air. "Tell me Bitchella"

"Se" she struggles to get out "Sea...Seattle"

"Where in Seattle?" Once I have her, I'm not letting go. Ever.

"Sur..surgeon" she gets out

"She can't breathe" Felix says "you might want to loosen your grip"

Dropping her to the floor, she coughs grabbing her neck looking up at me fearful "Where is RJ?" When she says nothing, I kick her in the gut that she flies hitting the wall. She coughs up blood looking at me with tears running down her face.

"I don't know!" She begs "I don't know...all I know" she manages to get out after coughing up blood again "is that she's a surgeon. Some teaching hospital in Seattle" Seattle Grace Mercy West, only teaching hospital in Seattle that RJ would go to. Her Aunt Ellis went there, so she would go there too. Especially since it's a cutting edge teaching hospital.

"Why did she leave Italy?" I demand

"I don't know" slamming my hand down hard on her leg, she screams as the mind reader yells at me to stop and that he'll kill me. I don't care, a decade. I haven't had my mate in a decade and now I'm supposed to stop when I finally have a lead on her? No "I think a guy! She...she doesn't talk about it and whenever she does she has this pained expression! We all think she was raped!" If my mate was raped I'm going to find the human and end him.  No one hurts my mate and lives, no one.

Don't worry RJ, when I find you I'm bringing you home and never letting you go again.
