I smile brightly entering the house that I live in with my kids and husband, this place belonged to John first and I was living in an apartment with Talon before John and CeCe "John!" Putting my keys in the key bowl, I hear CeCe crying. Why is she crying? "John!" Putting my bag on the table next to the bowl walking further to find John on the floor with CeCe and Talon next to him "John!" Getting to my knees as I am next to him, fear courses through my veins as my hands take John's face.

Putting two fingers to his neck finding a pulse, John begins to stir and I pull him to me relieved that he's okay "Oh thank god" pressing my lips to his, he kisses me back for a moment. I slap his chest "What happened?"

"Mommy" CeCe points to Daisy our bulldog, my eyes widen seeing her dead. John sits up gathering his surroundings and I look around seeing a fight.

"What happened?" Looking to John

He looks at Daisy then to me and the kids, pulling us into his embrace holding us "Talon" Talon is my eldest son, John's stepson who he sees as his own. Talon has blonde hair and my chocolate brown eyes. While CeCe has her father's dark brown hair and my chocolate brown eyes "take CeCe upstairs to her room" John orders

"Dad?" Talon asks

"Now!" John snapped, Talon nodded his head bringing CeCe upstairs as I look at John.

"What happened?" Placing my hand on his face, he looks down at me. What's going on? What happened?

"Three men came in last night" he tells me "stole the mustang and killed Daisy"

Furrowing my brows confused "Why?"

"Because I wouldn't sell the car" I look at Daisy then to him, tears running down my face "they almost hurt CeCe but she hid"

Clenching my jaw "They tried to hurt CeCe?" He nods his head as I think this over "they need to suffer, to die" holding John close "don't leave me"

"I'm right here" he promised "I'm right here"

After some time, while John cleaned up the blood I was with the kids holding them and assuring them that the bad men were gone. Turns out CeCe woke Talon up and he locked themselves in Talon's room and the two hid in his secret hiding space in the closet.

When we are outside, John had dug a hole for Daisy. She was getting up in her age, about twelve so she was near the end. CeCe cries as I hold her in my arms, she's three and doesn't understand what's going on. Just that bad men came in and killed Daisy. Talon is remaining strong, by my side. Talon knows John isn't angry with him, more so the people who did this to Daisy and stole the car.

I called Maze and she's going to keep an eye on the two with mom in mom's apartment in LA. Mom's lived in LA since I turned eighteen, she works as a dance instructor teaching for various ages.

When Meredith came by, she was asking questions and I told her that I'll explain later but for now she needs to keep an eye on the kids. They will be staying with her for a few days until Maze can pick them up. Just as she left, John came back from Aurelio's and told me the name of who did this.

Going to the basement seeing John use the sledge hammer to pull out his old case that is filled with his weapons of choice along with extra bullets and gold coins. See gold coins are used to provide a sense of security, a favor if you will call it.

When the phone goes off, I answer it "Wick residence. RJ speaking"

"Ah!" Some man with a Russian accent answers the phone "You must be John's new wife, Dr. Morningstar correct?"

"Who is this?" John comes over

"I'm an old friend of John's" he answers "is he around, my name is Viggo"

Handing the phone to him "someone named Viggo" John's eyes narrow a bit confused before taking the phone.

"Hello?" He answers

He's silent as we hear Viggo speak "Hello, John. It's been a while, I hear you have two beautiful children and a beautiful wife. I'm sorry to hear about your first wife, my condolences" John doesn't say anything "it seems to be fate or happenstance or just bad fucking luck that caused our paths to cross once again. As a father I'm sure you can understand that children can do things without your permission or"

I take the phone from John to speak with this Viggo "Your son Iosef is a dead man, he didn't just kill our dog but tried to harm our children. My babies. If you know my last name you know how powerful I am and how no one messes with a Morningstar and doesn't pay. Your son will die, but not for a very long time. I'm going to make him suffer, I'm going to make him wish you never fucked his whore of a mother" ending the call, John stared at me "no one hurts our family and lives, no one"

"No one" he agrees with me

John and I both get ready, he gets dressed into a black three piece suit while I change into a black body suit with dark blue skinny jeans, knee high black heeled boots and a grey jacket with black sleeves.

John turns off the lamp and we walk out of the room, he hands me a gun and I take it. We are in the shadows as men with guns come up the stairs, I hold my gun out and shoot one of them as John shoots another.

I jump down to the first floor dealing with the men down here while he deals with the men upstairs, when one of them tries to shoot me from behind I had vines from the plant behind him grab him. The large leaf covers his face and another leaf helped to suffocate him to death.

John joins me down here and we take the next four men who try to shoot us. When one pulls out a knife, I grab his wrist with one hand and he falls down being electrocuted to death. His other hand tried to hit me but I grabbed that one too.

When we're done, John has some blood on his forehead and I check it. It's the other man's blood. The doorbell rings and we see police sirens lights flashing red and blue.

Going over to the door, it's Jimmy. He knows about us and what we so or what John use to do "Evening John, RJ"

"Jimmy" greeting him as we hide our gun "noise complaint?"

"Noise complaint" he confirms, looking over to the dead body "working again?"

"Just cleaning some stuff up" John assured him

He nodded his head "Have a nice night you two" looking at me "and congratulations to the both of you" his wife is an ob nurse, so of course she knows.

John closes the door looking at me confused "Why did he offer congratulations?"

"It's what I wanted to tell you when I got home" he stares at me "or more like over dinner...I found out I'm pregnant"

He stares at me taking this in "You shouldn't have been fighting"

"But I am" putting the safety back on my gun "your not doing this alone"

"And your not risking your life" he argues. I stare at him "Promise me, you'll keep yourself and the baby safe"

"Don't I always" looking at the body "I want a message to be sent to Viggo"
