|Autumn's POV|

"I don't see why" Amy looks at me and mom arguing, today is the funeral for Dr. Bowman and Amy wants to go even though she's not really that close with Grace. She just wants to go because everyone else is, but she made a responsibility to the church to help keep an eye on the kids as the other adults who knew Dr. Bowman go to his funeral "you both can't be there for me"

"Because it isn't our responsibility!" Screaming at her now "It's yours!"

"But I need to pay my respects" she argues, oh my god this isn't prom! She wants to go like it's prom but it isn't!

"Autumn? Are you going to the funeral?" Ashley asks me as I was about to grab my 40 oz tumbler cup with a handle and straw.

"I don't know" shaking my head no "sure I know Grace but if I want to pay my respects, I'll do so when I head over to school today after visiting her at her house. I didn't really know Dr. Bowman and it would be very inappropriate for people who don't really know Dr. Bowman to appear at his funeral, if they know Grace then they should text or email or go in person to her house like what I'm doing. Send cards or something else—are you going?"

"No" Ashley looks at Amy "and even Autumn agrees that it would be inappropriate for any of us to go to that funeral"

"If neither of you" I go over and slap her across the face that she stumbles backwards, she looks at me shocked holding her face where there's a red handprint "You hit me!"

"Maybe that would have knocked some sense into you" crossing my arms, my phone goes off and it's Talon. He and I are going to visit Grace, she knows how Talon is part angel. We all discussed it, a family member. It was so heartwarming knowing that I was apart of the family now "I've got to go"

Amy then hits me back getting in my face "That was for hitting me"

Forming my hand into a fist, I punch her hard that we hear a sickening crack. Blood runs down her face as dad enters "Woah! What's going on?!"

"Autumn hit me!" Amy complains

"Amy hit me back!" Not taking my eyes off of her "this wouldn't have happened if Amy had accepted the fact that going to a funeral isn't like going to prom, she can miss a funeral! Especially to someone that she didn't know!"

"What's with the yelling?" Mom demands coming in, she's like four maybe five months pregnant. It's that David's baby though Ashley thinks it's dad's since he admitted that he might not have gotten a vasectomy. I asked Demetri and Ruby the chances of a vasectomy reversing themselves on their own and they both said that unless a doctor reversed what happened then it's impossible "Amy, your nose"

"Quit being a little bitch Amy" ordering my sister "you can't go to the funeral, so stop trying" going to Talon who is waiting on his motorcycle, he looks my way handing me the helmet.

After I secure it, I wrap my arms around his waist and he takes off. I can't wait till Talon and I are married, dad is still set against the wedding idea while mom has given us her full support. We've actually set a date for the wedding to be in the winter, between Christmas and New Years. So many things need to be done like finding cake, choosing the food, the wedding dress—it all.

When we get to the house, Mrs. Bowman lets us inside "We brought Grace" I show Mrs. Bowman the flowers we got on the way here "some flowers"

"Thank you" she motions to upstairs "maybe one of you could talk to her, I don't know what either of you said but you were able to get her to leave her room" we head up to Grace's room where she is writing something down.

"Hi Grace" she looks up at us and smiles

"Hey guys" she greets us "so I'm making a list of things I've regretted and"

"Grace" Talon takes the list from her "are you going to your father's funeral?" She's silent as she stares at us "you need to go Grace, you need the closure"

"How can I?" She asks "the last thing between us was a fight, me arguing that I want sex"

"All father's want their daughters to wait till marriage" I say "I'm pretty sure with guys too, but I assure you Grace that if you don't go you'll truly regret this"

"How about" Talon flips the paper over to a new page "you write down what you want to tell your dad, like a one last time type of thing. Anything, let him know what you want. This way you'll be able to remove any heavy guilt that is over you"

"You're going to the funeral?" Amy demands when Talon and I found parking by the Church Nursery. Ashley and dad are also here and give me bewildered looks as I'm wearing this black dress with a black vest and black heels.

"Yeah" nodding my head "but because Grace asked, she asked for me and Talon to be there"

"Yeah" nodding my head "but because Grace asked, she asked for me and Talon to be there"

"Then I should also go" Amy nods her head insisting, she's got bandages on her nose because I broke it "I'm also her friend and since she wants friends"

"You" Talon points to her "need to stay here, stop trying to go to this—go do the job that you have" Talon and I walk over to where his parents are, they knew Dr. Bowman.

"I didn't know" Ruby looks at me "you knew Dr. Bowman"

"We're here for Grace" I explain looking around "where is she?"

Demetri points to the car "Hasn't left"

"Hey Autumn" one of Amy's friends, Maddison comes up beside me "is Amy also coming?"

"No" shaking my head no "she's filling in so that those at the church nursery can be here" she hates this life, absolutely hates it.
