When she has to go back into the arena she thinks its over but it's just the beginning.

"So, beside Brutus and Enobaria who's left?" Katniss questions as we all sit around on the sand and on low tree limbs. "Maybe Chaff. Just those three." Peeta responds to her as he sits against a tree. "They know they're outnumbered. I doubt they'll attack again. We're safe here on the beach." Finnick says.
"So, what do we do? We hunt them down?" Johanna asks. "Haymitch told us to stay alive and we can barely do that. If we go for them who says they won't kill most of us?" Katniss says. She's right about them killing some of us but they probably would not last.
Just then a little girl's voice yells Katniss' name. We all look into the trees and Katniss' name is yelled again. "Prim!" Katniss yells as she starts to run into the trees. Finnick follows not far behind Katniss calling her name, trying to get her to stop.
I consider following them, but I don't want to get myself into any trouble. Then I heard Cason yelling my name. Just as I stand up to follow the voice someone grabs my hand and I look down to see Peeta shaking his head.
I look back at the trees one more time before I sit back down beside him. The yelling gets louder, and I cover my ears to block it out. I feel Peeta put his hand on my shoulder and when it finally stops, we all get up to find Katniss and Finnick.
They aren't too far into the jungle, so we find them quickly. I make my way over to Finnick who is sitting on the ground staring at nothing and crouch down to get to his level. "Are you ok?" I ask him in a soft voice.
Without looking at me he tells me he's fine and I sit in front of him as Johanna basically threatens snow. And I just look at her as she does so. "What? He can't hurt me." She says after she finishes yelling at the sky. "There's no one left that I love."
I feel bad for her. I know she probably isn't lying. She means what she says. She goes to get some water for Katniss and the rest of us walk back to the beach. Finnick makes his way to the water, and I sit next to Katniss.
Johanna comes back with some type of shell full of water for Katniss and she sits down with us. "Who is Annie?" Katniss asks me. "Annie Cresta. The girl I volunteered for. She won her games about five years ago."
"Is she the one that went a little..." She held her finger up to her ear and made a quick circling motion with it and I nodded in response. "I mean I wouldn't call her crazy. She just went through a lot, and it left a big scar you know?" She nods and looks at Finnick as he sits in the water on the beach.
"I have a plan." Beetee says and we turn our attention towards him. Johanna calls Finnick over and soon we are all listening to Beetee explain his plan.
"We leave the beach at dusk. We headed to the lightning tree. That should draw them back to the beach. Prior to midnight we then run this wire from the tree to the water. Anyone in the water or on the damp sand will be electrocuted."
"How do we know the wire's not going to burn up?" Johanna questions. I nod my head wanting to know the answer too. "Because I invented it. I assure you it won't burn up." Everyone looks at each other considering the plan.
"Well, it's better than hunting them down." Johanna says with a sigh. "Yeah, why not." Katniss says. "If it fails no harm done anyway, right?" Peeta nods his head "Alright I say we try it." "So, what can we do the help?" Finnick asks Beetee.
"Keep me alive until midnight. That would be extremely helpful."
