Year 3828 — Planet Zahran — Section Tria
Astraea brushed off the snow that stuck to her pants and puffer jacket. Their laughter died down after another minute, but her smile still stayed.
"Looks like you're going to have to be nice to me for the rest of the day." Zeph grinned at his victory, taking out the bag from his jacket. "How does it feel to be a loser?"
"Don't get ahead of yourself. I may be the loser of this bet but I'll win the next one." She promised, eyes dancing for a challenge. "Now let's go see what our prize is."
She stepped past him, heading for the stall to the side of the bridge.
"Like I'll let you win the next one," he uttered.
"Hello, congratulations on completing the Aurum Rose Labyrinth!" A young woman exclaimed. "How was your experience?"
"Um, it was lovely." Astraea gave the quickest compliment she could think of. Then a mischievous thought popped up in her mind. A wily smile spread across her face as she looked up at Zeph.
He returned it with a perplexed expression.
He said that she had to be nice for the rest of the day. She had thought of a way to make him hate it.
"My boyfriend and I really liked the gold roses." She reached for Zeph's empty arm, wrapping her hands around his bicep.
Zeph's breath stilled as he was taken aback at her change in mood.
"I'm so glad! Here are your prizes for completing the labyrinth." She took out a deep purple box.
"Oh, um, thank you." Astraea took the small box from her hands, opening it gently.
"It's a real galaxy rose hair piece and matching galaxy rose cuff links." The woman informed as Astarea and Zeph looked into the box.
As she said there was a purple-blue gradient rose with white speckles in the center of the white satin. Astarea touched a petal of the rose, feeling that it was living.
"These roses are eternal so they'll never die," the woman said noticing Astarea's interest. She then drifted her eyes to the round cuff links that displayed a galaxy and a white outlining of a rose in the middle.
"Aren't they the cutest gift for a date?" The bright lady said excitedly.
"Yes, they are!" Astraea matched her energy. "We love them, don't we, honey?" She jabbed Zeph with her elbow. Zeph looked at her, noticing the moves she was playing.
"Yes, I can't wait to match." He smirked grabbing Astarea's arm gently. "Let's go, honey." He dragged the nickname, whispering it close to Astraea's ear.
"Thank you for coming!" The woman waved as the two walked away.
"What was that?" He asked once they were in the clear, removing his hand.
"What was what?" She batted her lashes innocently.
"Nevermind." He brushed it off, looking forward to where she was going to take this. "Let's go get the food."

The two finished up shopping quickly after that and headed back to the ship.
"Finally." Astraea breathed out as she dropped the groceries in the floor of the kitchen and collapsing on a nearby chair.
"You still have to help me put these away." Zeph ruined her break as he placed his bags near the fridge.
She opened her mouth to refuse but caught herself. "Of course I'll help you, match stick," she said in a cheery voice, standing up from the seat.
He gave her an odd look. "Is this how you are when you're nice?"
