Year 2828 — Planet Avior — Section Tria
Their arrival to Avior happened after a few more days of nonstop traveling. Astraea couldn't wait to get out of the ship. Though Zeph was more bearable as she spent more time with him, she needed to see someone who wasn't him.
The ship felt so small as she spent her time reading or playing games with Zeph. And not to mention, they were almost always together.
A day prior to their arrival, Zeph contacted the director of a prestigious school in Avior about a meeting to discuss their issues. Luckily, the man agreed without Zeph needing to tell him much.
Astraea was excited to finally get some answers so she couldn't help but be nervous. She was dressed in the black dress, its mesh sleeves creating a beautiful neckline. The dress wasn't too tight but it still shaped her assets pleasantly. Half of her hair was pulled into the galaxy rose hair lip, leaving the rest in waves along her back. She was also wearing a pair of simple high heels to help with the length of the dress.
She actually didn't mind the heels as she though she would. It was most likely do to wearing heeled boots at certain times when there were important meetings.
Astraea couldn't help but admire herself. It had been a while since she had felt pretty. Being a soldier meant there was no time to make yourself look good because it wouldn't help you much in battle.
Taking one last look in the mirror, she exited the room. Leaned against the wall was Zeph, dressed in his all black suit, the only pop of color were the galaxy cuffs on his sleeves.
He turned his head hearing the door open. His eyes lingered on her more than he anticipated they would. She was also in a similar daze.
"You clean up well." He managed to say.
Astraea gave him a raised brow. "I thought you knew how to compliment better than that."
"Then show me how it's done." He challenged, the green in his eyes were brighter against the black.
Astraea weighed her options before replying. "I think you look handsomer in a suit than those other clothes. They make you look more..." she pondered her answer, "nice and approachable."
"Really?" He questioned, not expecting her to match the word handsome with him. "Then you also look more beautiful than before. It makes you look like you could kick anyone's ass." He smirked.
"Of course I can. Even a dress won't stop me." She crossed her arms across her chest before making her way down the hall.
"I know it won't," he mumbled behind her.
About twenty minutes later, they had arrived at the institute.
It was brighter than Astraea expected. Avior had two stars which surrounded it, meaning it was always light out every hour of the day. Night time did not really exist.
Even with the stars, the planet remained fairly cool because they were further away. Similar to Neon, it did not have an atmosphere to protect it from the space. It used special fields to protect itself, creating an artificial atmosphere for its inhabitants which also cooled the planet.
The building of the institute was made of yellow-grey limestone that was intricately craved that could be seen from the entrance. Astraea looked throughout the school, seeing students dressed in formal uniforms.
Their attire proved that Zeph wasn't lying.
"Have you been here before?" Astarea asked as she walked side by side with Zeph down a smooth stone path. They went deeper into the area, heading for the main building that was surrounded by the park they were currently in.
