Year 3828 — The Vale — Section Epta

El returned soon after finding a way into the ship.

"I'm going to have to touch you in order to take you with me," she said to the two of them, raising her palms up.

"That's fine, we have to hurry," Zeph said with a light nod.

El bobbed her head, placing a hand on his shoulder. She then looked at Izmeria who sneered but reluctantly turned her shoulder for El to touch.

Elestren void-walked through the ship, landing them in a secluded hallway.

"We have to be careful, there are cameras everywhere," El warned.

"It's fine, I'll take care of those. We just need to find where they are," Zeph answered.

"We can interrogate someone," Izmeria suggested as she thumbed at a guard walking down an opposite hall.

Zeph nodded but before he could move, El teleported to the guard.

She was quick with her work as she removed his weapons and dragged him against the wall.

"Where are the girls the General took?" El asked with a knife against his neck.

"Please, don't!" He cried.

"Where are the girls?" Izmeria repeated in a low tone.

"They-they were taken."

"Where?" El pushed.

"A room on the third floor near the bridge. It's small. You'll know it when you see it." He quickly confessed. "Please spare me."

"What do we do with him?" Izmeria asked.

"Tie him up and stuff him in a room," El replied.

Though Zeph wasn't to fond of letting him live, but the man looked too pitiful.

After everything was handled, they made their way two levels lower.

Just like the guard said, there were very few rooms on the floor. Only one of them had two guards outside of them.

"It's most likely that room," Izmeria said behind a corner.

"I'll take care of it this time," Zeph replied. He took a step forward around the corner.

With a flick of his hand, their weapons were gone and instead were aimed at the soldiers.

"Don't move if you don't want to die," Zeph said in a low tone, walking towards the soldiers. He then butted them with their guns, causing them to fall unconscious.

As he did that, El and Izmeria worked on the lock of the door.

"Use your Helix," El said.

"Don't tell me what to do." She spit back, bringing a shield around her fist.

With a heavy punch, Izmeria broke the mechanism of the door.

It slid open, revealing a dark room.

"Rae?" El asked entering the room.

There was no response.

"There is no one here." Izmeria huffed. "He lied."

"Or they were moved," Zeph suggested, looking around the empty.

Just then alarms began to ring. A large thud made the ship shake.

El let out a curse. "We need to go."

"You two get out of here, I'm going to go check one last place." Zeph quickly made his way out.

"I'm coming with you." El didn't let him get too far.
