Year 3828 — Cyber Ship Lira — Section Epta

Astraea slowly raised her hands up, her eyes darting in all directions, trying to find an answer.

"Rae!" Renan's voice sounded behind her, but also stopped when he realized what predicament they were in. The groups' steps faltered at the off put moment.

"We mean no harm, we're aquantences of Zeph," Astraea tried to convince the soldiers that kept their rifles aimed at them.

"That makes you an enemy," a soldier replied, before a button was pressed on a remote he held with a free hand.

All too familiar shackles appeared on their wrists, teleported by the look of the button.

"What do you mean Zeph is an enemy?" Astraea stepped closer to the soldier.

He didn't answer this time, instead he grabbed her shackled wrists and dragged her with him.

"Let her go!" Renan yelled behind her, but he too was being taken away.

The soldier took her into a large room, the bridge of the ship.

As she entered the room, her eyes widened to see Zeph also in handcuffs against the wall, alongside Ryker.

"What's going on?" She asked once more but was thrown against the wall near Zeph. "Match stick, what—"

Zeph sported a deep frown, unhappy with her appearance here. "I told you not come. Why are you here?" He scolded her.

"I couldn't just sit back and watch," she hissed back, displeased with his rudeness.

"Looks like we have them all here." A man walked into the bridge.

Executive Officer Vexor.

"Who are you?" Izmeria glowered at the honey blonde man. He was younger than the previous Commander but shorter than him. Astraea didn't like how snobbish his face looked.

"The Commander of Eclipse," he answered pridefully, smiling as Izmeria struggled against her shackles.

"Commander, the attack has begun." A soldier stated by his side.

"Wonderful, now we can sit here and watch everything play out as it was supposed to," Vexor said with an evil smile, looking out the large window that faced Audun.

"Why are you doing this?" Zeph seethed. Astraea assumed that the shock from earlier was Vexor's betrayal.

"Why not?" Vexor shrugged his shoulders. "I can do anything with this position. You have no idea how long I've waited to be Commander. That old man Hovin was such a pain in my neck. Took me so much time to get rid of him." Vexor made an annoyed look.

"Were you the one that sent the Auraforms to the base?" Ryker blurted out, trying to make sense of things.

"I was. It disappointed me when it took two tries to finally kill him," Vexor said with a wave of his hand.

Astraea was once again confused by all of this. Eclipse's spy was its second-in-command but what about the Auraforms?

"The Auraforms, you control them." Astarea questioned but it sounded more like a statement.

"Why? Are you shock that I would be the one, Nelerix?" Vexor mused at the woman. "You caught me by surprise the first time you came, couldn't let you get hurt. Otherwise, our first source of blood is gone."

"Our?" El picked up on his words. "Are you working with the Colonel?"

"The Colonel?" Vexor asked in a confused tone. "Ohh," he said as he began to realize, "do you mean Cosmara? No, that man is long dead. Another pain in my side."
