Year 3828 — Cyber Ship Charna — Section Epta
Astraea released a groan as her head was pounding.
"Where..." she looked around only to notice that she was in a dark room.
She scurried to her feet, hoping to find some answer to where she was.
All she could remember was that Lyris took her.
Lyris.
She didn't want to believe it. To believe that Lyris was really the one behind all of this.
The person she had shared countless cups of tea with. The person who taught her how to fight. The person who raised her.
"Lyris! Lyris, where are you?!" She yelled in the darkness.
"There is no use in calling for her." A voice said from the darkness. "They trapped us in this room. From what I can telling there is nothing here except for a door."
"Solenne?" Astraea guessed as her eyes slowly adjusted. There was a very thin cyber light running across the corner of the walls and ceiling. But barely any light came from it. "Where are we?"
"Her ship, she took us. They had to knock you out though," she said softly.
Astraea walked towards the girl that was also handcuffed. She slide down the wall leaving a foot of space in between them.
"Do you know where they're taking us?"
"No," Solenne said truthfully. "I still don't know what she needs me for."
"You knew that Ly—the General was the one behind the labs." Astraea didn't have the courage to say her name anymore.
"Yes, she said that she needed my blood. She told me about you too. That you also have the same blood as me. Blood that can bring those creatures alive," Solenne explained slowly.
"Why would she do this? It doesn't make any sense." Astraea brought her knees up as she thought about it.
"I've lived my entire life giving her blood and I still don't know," Solenne whispered.
Astraea glanced at the soft girl.
Unlike her, she was able to see more than just a white room. Astraea thought she had it bad by not being able to go on missions.
But here was Solenne, who's only seen the white walls and the Eclipse Headquarters.
"Why do you hate me? Last time you..." Astraea brought up the time she attacked her.
"I want to hate you," Solenne admitted. "Your blood was taken but you were able to live how you wanted. She would tell me about how there was someone like me. That she was training to fight. All she ever talked about was you." Solenne met Astarea's similar eyes. "What's so special about you?"
Astraea didn't say a word, she was unable to.
Solenne built up a hate for the person she was told about.
What was Lyris' plan in all of this?
She desperately wanted to know.
Then a unlocking sound echoed the room. Astraea quickly stood up, cautious of who it was.
"Astraea." A man appeared, a soldier. "Let's go." He forcefully grabbing her arm.
"Where are you taking me?!" She fought against him.
He didn't answer, grabbing her tighter. He lugged her out of the room and into the hall.
The guard didn't speak as he lead her into another larger room. The bridge of the ship.
