Year 3828 — Eclipse Headquarters — Section Epta

Elestren Voiden furiously glared at the person in front of her who sporty a snarky grin.

"Aren't you going to interrogate me?" She snapped at him.

She sat in an interrogation room with one door and a one-way mirror glass window. On the other side of the glass was another room looking into the interrogation room.

"I am interrogating you." Ryker mused, not looking up from his drawing.

The two had been in the room for over five minutes now and he has done nothing but doodle with the pencil.

"You're just drawing a stupid picture," she retorted, getting annoyed at how nonchalant he was.

"I guess you're calling yourself stupid." He raised the paper to show her the drawing.

It was a quite detailed sketch of El. He captured her dominating persona through her sharp eyes and pursed lips.

"Do you need my picture for your records or something?" She asked annoyed that he had taken such detail to her features. "Ask me a question already."

"Fine." He dropped the pencil and leaned back in his chair. Ryker crossed his arms as he took her in some more. "What's your favorite color?"

"You're not being serious." She gave him a look of disbelief. "Have you ever interrogated someone before?"

"I have actually and this is how I usually start them." He shrugged his shoulders. "You ask normal questions first, making the person relax. But looks like they don't work on you since you're spitting fire at me."

"I'll spit lava next." She threatened.

Ryker uncrossed his arms and leaned over the paper to write something done. "Favorite color: red."

"You're insufferable." She muttered under her breath.

"I'm glad you think so." He smirked. "So favorite food?"

Astraea watched through the window at the sight of El grilling Ryker alive.

"Are you sure you want to interrogate all of us?" She asked Zeph who stood next to her.

As she watched their conversation, she began to feel the guilt of lying to her squad mates. But what other choice would she have?

She was running around with a criminal and then discovered that COSMIC was doing criminal activity.

"I'd like to see where it goes. You're friends might be just as amusing as you." He chuckled as he watched Ryker attempt to ask El another question. He then spun in the direction of the door. "Come on, want to see Solenne?"

Astraea nodded, following after him.

She was curious to see what she was like and why her blood was also important. Maybe Solenne held the answers she has been looking for.

Zeph led her into a room which also had a one-way window. Inside the room through the glass was a girl sitting on a bed. She looked to be around fifteen, sixteen from how thin she was.

"What did they do to her?" Astraea gawked at the poor girl. She was huddled against the corner wall on the bed, not saying a word.

She had curly light brown hair that fell to her waist. Her clothes were still the white hospital dress she wore even before she came to Eclipse.

"She won't let anyone approach her and she won't say a word. She's scared of us." Zeph said defeated.

Astraea stared at the young girl through the window. "Can I try?" She wanted to help her. If they were somehow apart of this big plan, she needed to help the people that were affected.
