chapter six

"ALYRA." the blondes eyes opened up quickly when she heard a voice in her ear. when she opened her eyes, she was inches away from harry's face, but the boy was still fast asleep. she quickly pulled herself up and sat up, looking up to see draco and stella standing over her.

"hi." she spoke, her voice was low and groggily as she just woke up.

"we need to talk to you." draco said, pulling his sister up to her feet and made her follow himself and stella outside of the great hall

"uh, i don't want to." she tried to pull herself away but draco wouldn't let her, "i just woke up, can you give me a minute?!"

"no." draco replied, stopping suddenly once they got out of the hall, "what's going on with you and potter? and i don't wanna hear you're stupid 'nothings going on' i saw you guys."

"nothing is going on, im serious." alyra groaned in annoyance, she wasn't lying, nothing was going on between her and potter.

"why are you lying to us?" stella asked, her eyebrows furrowed together

"im still mad at you." lyra rolled her eyes at stella, "so i don't wanna hear anything from you about how i lied to you."

stella went quiet after that and just looked down at her feet, but draco however, wasn't gonna give up that fast

"tell me what's going on between you guys." draco told her, clearly upset with her, "why are you flirting with potter?!"

"i'm not!" alyra replied, getting annoyed at this point of the conversation, "im not flirting with anyone."

"you like him, don't you?" draco asked, clearly not letting the topic go, "be honest alyra."

"i don't like harry!" she snapped, raising her voice slightly, "why would i ever like harry!? i would never in a million years even think about harry potter in that way. are you a complete idiot, draco?"

before draco could have the chance to even answer she turned away from the duo in front of her, bumping into someone. she looked up at who she bumped into and saw harry with a slightly hurt face and an upset look in his green eyes and immediately frowned at him a little. with their closeness, alyra could smell some sort of faint pine tree smell when standing against him like that. her eyebrows knit together on her forehead as the two of them looked at each other awkwardly for a moment but a few seconds after the pair made a direct eye contact harry moved past her quickly, walking away fairly fast.

"what was that about then?" draco asked, going back to the topic from before, and she just ignored him, walking away from him and stella

"alyra!" she heard stella's voice catching up with her, "please, please forgive me. if it means that much to you i promise i won't make any moves on him. ever."

"you'd actually do that?" lyra turned around and faces stella who nodded quickly in response, "of course i forgive you stel... and i know you can't control who you like, believe me, i know.." she paused for a moment, looking at stella who raised her eyebrows a little, "but i'm not gonna stop you from liking who you want just because it makes me a little upset. i love you and my brother very much and i want you guys happy."

"really?" stella smile, hugging lyra when she said she forgave her, "i love you so much lyra."

"i love you more stel, now come on we have to get to class." alyra linked her arm with stella and they walked towards their class

ALYRA walked into professor lupins defense against the dark arts class with stella, a small smile on her face as she did so.
