6 ~ Jahanvi is a talker

Sun rays invaded my room through the windows and I opened my eyes. Rubbing my eyes slowly, I sat up on the bed. My eyes caught the view of my phone and I smiled when the flashbacks of last night came infront of my eyes. Her voice, our first proper talk. Her calling me, "Dev." Everything.

I picked up my phone and opened her chat to type a quick message.

Me : Good morning, my sunshine.

One tick. She was surely sleeping. I moved towards the washroom to freshen myself up and take a bath.

When I returned back, I picked up my phone along with Ishi's and moved out of the room towards my mother's room to visit her. She was ready in fresh clothes. I touched her feet and she blessed me.

"Did you get a good sleep?", she asked and my thoughts again roamed towards last night. Ofcourse, I got a good sleep.

I nodded my head, "Ji maa-sa."

"And what's the news about the Jeevika trust?".

"The meetings were productive, and we made some promising deals which will surely play in our favour Maa-sa."

"Good to hear that."

I nodded my head.

"I should meet Krishiv once," she nodded and I walked away from her room.

We were having our breakfast when Krishiv asked suddenly,

"Bhai-sa, your eyes are red ! Hmm-hmm who were you busy with last night?"

Damn. My cheeks surely would have turned red had I not ignored his teasy question.

"Shut up and eat your food!"

He laughed, accompanied by Devishi.

After having breakfast along with my siblings, I moved back to my room. lt was my day off today as I had just returned from the meetings yesterday.

My eyes caught her message.

J : Good morning, Raja-sa.

J : Had your breakfast?

J : Is Devishi's phone still with you? She isn't replying.

J : I got her reply.

J : I'm sorry for disturbing you with so many messages.

I laughed. Oh God, what is this girl. Multiple messages all at once and literally talking to herself over my chat. Still, all mine.

Me : How are you? Feeling well?

I switched on the TV while waiting for her reply. And then my phone pinged after five minutes.

J : I'm fine Raja-sa. Just that am not habituated of messages from you.

A smile blossomed on my lips.
