As planned by me and Kunwar-sa, I reached the palace, the very next day to meet Devishi but when I entered her room, I saw that very person sitting there on the bed.
I ignored greeting her and walked directly to sit beside Devishi on sofa. She whispered in my ear, "I've made 100s of lies to push her out, she is stubborn."
I laughed mutely and spoke, "We should move to Raja-sa's room, she'll not be able to come there."
"Nice idea Jaanvi," she said and I smiled ready to move towards his room, but she added, "But bhai-sa is out of city."
Out of city? I didn't knew that.
"Don't worry, he will return before night, that's why he would have not informed you," she said and I nodded my head.
"I heard what happened, Krishiv bhai-sa told me," she spoke with a disgusting look on her face towards the person sitting on the bed. "I even suggested bhai-sa to tell all this to Maa-sa, but he denied saying Maa-sa will get tensed and she'll not understand all this."
I nodded my head. Even I didn't wanted to involve his mother in this. I stayed with Devishi until it turned evening then I finally bid her bye and moved outside to walk to the main door of the palace. I was walking through the garden, when I felt someone's presence beside me. I turned my face to look at the person and I literally gasped when I found out that it was Princess Mitali.
"Devishi's bestfriend right? What's your name?", she asked.
I cleared my throat and replied, "Jahanvi."
She nodded her head, "Your father works here?"
I nodded my head without any shame. Why to feel shame? It's my father's occupation and I'm proud that he works here to earn and keep us healthy.
She chuckled, "Your luck shined, otherwise who makes the daughter of a servant, her bestfriend, especially when you're the literal Princess of Jodhpur."
I frowned, "Thank God, Devishi is nothing like you," I laughed sarcastically.
She laughed back. But her next question left me in awe. "But answer me one thing, what were you doing in Devansh's room during the ceremony?"
I inhaled deeply and replied, "His head was aching, he asked for medicine, and that's why I was there to give him that."
"See, Jahanvi, I know the cheap tricks of you people. Trying to pleasure the royal men, even sexually somet—" I cut her off hearing her disgusting words towards me, "If you think of me like that, it'll be better if we don't talk, Princess."
She laughed. "Oh no darling, we need to have a proper convo, for me to explain you clearly that Stay. Fucking. Away. From. Devansh. Because we're going to get married soon, and I would not like my fiancee involving with a servant's daughter sexually, I'm enough to give him every kind of pleasure."
