Princess Mitali had left two weeks ago, after she went on threatening Jahnavi about staying away from me like I was her fucking property. I've said her a lots of time to stay away from me, I had never imagined that she would be so stubborn. Thank God, she doesn't have my contact number, otherwise it would have been a gone-gone case for me.
I was actually stuck in between. Maa-sa wanted her to be my bride and I wanted my Jahanvi to be my wife. I have decided to talk to Maa-sa, once Devishi's wedding gets over.
"I hope everything's going fine, Bhai-sa," Krishiv's irritating voice eradicated a taste of disinterest on my tastebuds, because I knew he was going to tease me as he added, "with Princess Mitali."
"Do you wish to get punched by me?"
"No, bhai-sa. Just asking, you two were good friends as far as I knew," he winked looking towards me and my jaw tightened as I replied, "Apart from my brother's position, I'm your good friend too, do you want me to marry you?"
He laughed rolling his head back, "My bad, am not a gay, otherwise you would've been a good choice."
I rolled my eyes back, "I don't find your intentions good towards me, better stay away."
"Come-on bhai-sa. I am straight, you can trust me, I was just sharing my views," he laughed again.
My voice turned cold as I asked, "Why are you going to escape functions from Devishi's wedding, when you already know she'll not like it?"
He cleared his throat, his expressions changing suddenly, "You already know, I don't like people around me. But," his eyes glistened, "Am not going to miss the wedding."
"You better talk about this with our sister, otherwise she'll get pissed off to an extent that she'll stop talking with you, you know her."
He grunted, "I will."
I was using my phone and he was working on his laptop. Lesser are the times we spend together and whatever we spend, it's the moments like these. Some moments full of arguments and some filled with hilarious jokes. Otherwise he likes staying away from our home.
He cleared his throat again, "Uhm- I think we should send the wedding invitation card to Jahanvi's house personally."
I looked at him. "I know, I'll do that."
"On a serious note, Mitali will be back next week, have you thought something about her?", he asked, shutting down his laptop.
I stayed silent.
He muttered while standing up to leave the room, "I will suggest to think something, because in no way I and Devishi can see Jahanvi's torment around her. Although, I know Jahanvi is a strong girl but.... Uh — no girl can see some other lady involving with her man and be strong."
He was right.

"Just a minute, Raja-sa, I'm coming."
