8 ~ Devishi to meet a Prince

I didn't visit the palace for next four days, although he wanted me too, but I didn't find it appropriate enough to visit daily. I mean, before our thing started, I used to visit the palace on alternate days, but after that it feels some kind of more awkward. I really don't know why.

Another reason could be, I don't really want Devishi to read my eyes and know that I'm hiding something from her, because I know that if we'll spend much time together, she'll subsequently end up knowing up my pretty bad secret about her brother and me, being in a love affair. So, it was much better right now, for me, to stay away.

Before Gangaur, I always kept care of this thing, that she doesn't catches me ogling at her brother. I succeeded too. She never noticed me, otherwise it would have been so embarrassing. I don't know how this thing will really go like, once she'll come to know about us. I can just pray for everything to go smoothly, which I quite well know at the back of my mind, will never happen.

My phone pinged.

Devishi : I need to share something with you.

I immediately typed my reply.

Me : Yes, am all ears.

She typed for an entire minute which made me think that what was she even typing. But before her message reached me, my screen flashed his message and I opened his chat.

D : I think.. you should visit today.

I felt nauseous again. Here, I'm trying to stay away, and on the otherside, I was sure, something was going to happen which will force me to visit the palace.

D : I think Ishi will need to talk with you.

Her message hit my phone. I went back to her chat.

Devishi : Bhai-sa came to my room earlier this morning when I was still sleeping. I had no fucking idea, Jaanvi. He said that Prince Yuvansh is going to visit this evening. I was so shocked. You know I really am not ready to meet him so soon. He didn't even tried to reach me, atleast for once in the past years and suddenly he wants to meet me. Has some ghost invaded his soul? Fuck, am dead.

What else I can say other than this? It's not like I can prevent their meeting. Yeah, but I can raise her morale.
