I was getting ready for the party that we were going to host today. Green blazer, black turtle necked t-shirt and pants. Along with silver rolex.
As expected, Ishi had invited Jahanvi too, in the party. I knew that she would not leave her alone. And I was really excited to see her in western today. Usually she wears traditional clothes and honestly, she aces it.
Past two weeks of my proper relationship with her has been unexpectedly wonderful. I feel a sense of wonder and gratitude that has blossomed between us. It's been a whirlwind of emotions, filled with late night calls, heartfelt texts, and moments of shared laughter and intimacy that has left and indelible mark on my heart.
Each night as the world around me grows still and quiet, I find solace in the sound of her voice, a soothing melody that calms the storm raging within me. Our conversations span the spectrum of topics, from the mundane to the profound, and yet each word exchanged between us feels like a precious gift, a thread that weaves us closer together.
Her sweetness knows no bounds, her kindness and generosity of spirit lighting up even the darkest corners of my soul. She listens with unwavering attention, offering words of comfort that lifts me up whenever I feel low.
But it's not just her sweetness that draws me to her- it's the way she sees me just as a normal person, like no one else sees. With her, I feel free- to be vulnerable, to share my deepest fears and insecurities without fear of judgement and rejection.
And in return, I find myself opening up to her in ways I never thought possible, sharing words and feelings that I've kept hidden from the world for far too long. It's a liberating experience, to lay bare my soul to someone who accepts me without reservation, who loves me for the person I'm.
I move outside to check on Maa-sa and my siblings. Krishiv is back from his friends tour. Jahanvi would be in Ishi's room probably, how can I miss the chance of seeing her.
I moved first towards Ishi's room. I knocked on the door of her room. And in return, I got the reply from Ishi, Kanak and Naina all at once, "NOT NOW, WE ARE GETTING READY."
I sighed and made my way towards Maa-sa's room. She was ready in her green beautiful I think we call it sharara set. Of course the theme was green.
I bent down and touched her feet. She blessed me by placing her palm on my head.
"Everything's ready, Devansh?", she enquired.
I nodded my head, "Yes, Maa-sa. I only have to check on Wadiyar's once."
"They're the special guests Devansh, there shouldn't be any shortcomings," she spoke and I nodded, "Ji, Maa-sa."
"Did Ishi talk to you something about Prince Yuvansh?", she questioned.
I shook my head, "I think she needs time. They've only met one day ago. It would be good if they spend time together, right?"
She nodded, "We don't have any problem, Devansh, but Yuvansh's mother was looking in a hurry. I doubt she wants this wedding to happen soon."
