By the time I was getting ready, Devishi invaded in my room. She came and sat on the bed as she was already ready, while I was still completing small tasks.
"How was your night?", she asked and I felt a lump in my throat.
Does she have a hint? Stay calm Jahanvi.
"I slept a lot, what about you?". Thank God her expressions were even.
"Prince Yuvansh is a good man. I think I'm... Ready for the wedding."
My eyes widened, "Really? Are you sure? I mean it's merely been five days."
She laughed, "Sometimes even a single day is enough to find a good man, and sometimes even a lifetime is not enough. I think my luck fell into the first category."
Oh my God. I can't believe.
I went forward and hugged her tightly, "I'm so happy because you're happy. I love you."
She laughed soundly, "I love you too, darling."
I went back to keep my essentials in the trekking bag while I heard her voice again, "Uh- Did you had a chat with Vedant?".
I pinched my brows, "Vedant?".
"Yuv's friend?", she replied.
Okay, it's Yuv now.
I shook my head and chuckled, "Not after that awkward dance of ours."
"I think you should, he is a good guy."
I glanced at Devi.
"Is it necessary to talk to every good guy?" I got involved in my packing again. But her next words stunned me,
"Nopes, but you can consider talking to a guy who has feelings for you, since the day he saw you."
I paused for two minutes. Was I hearing correct? "Yuv told me that, he shared this with Yuv," she muttered casually, "Apart from this, he looks good too and has a personality worth dying for."
I rolled my eyes back, "Whatever, I'm not interested."
She came forward and held my hands, "Hey, you should really consider it once, he is really a nice person. The way he talks I c—" I cut her off, "I don't want to."
She raised her brows, "Can I know the reason?"—"So that I can tell him that you're denying, I cannot say that directly."
"Anything Devishi, I don't want to be in a relationship right now, is that a perfect reason?".
"But he can wait!".
O God! What really got into this girl that she is getting so desperate to set me with him.
"I've feelings for someone else," I accepted, in a low voice.
"Is that true, look into my eyes?".
Breathe in, Jahanvi. Take a deep breathe.
