I showed some strength and moved towards the other tent where Ishi and everyone else were sitting.

When I walked in, she looked away instantly. My stomach churned.

I knew Jahanvi had soft wipes in her backpack. Even she had mine one too. All that she wanted was — me to clear things with my sister. And thus, I was here.

I called her name softly, "Ishi."

She didn't look at me.

Kanak spoke, "Ishi, bhai-sa is calling you."

I called her again, "Ishi, I need to talk."

No reply came. Naina spoke this time, "Did you two had a fight? O God! This would be your first fight after school days."

I rolled my eyes back and called her name again, "Ishi. Just two minutes."

When she did not respond, my eyes shifted to Yuvansh, who was sitting beside her and caressing her thigh lightly to comfort her. He looked towards me and blinked his eyes once. I nodded my head and walked out.

After few minutes, I saw Ishi walking outside along with him. When her eyes fell on me, she immediately turned around.

Yuvansh stopped her and cupped her cheek, "Talk to him. He is your brother."

She shook her head, "No need to trick me, Yuv. I don't want to talk to him."

I felt a lump in my throat.

He didn't let her go. He hugged her loosely and muttered something in her ear that didn't reach to my ears and caressed her head lightly, kissing on the crown of her head. She is going to have such an understanding husband. That made my happy.

She gave him a nod and he walked inside, leaving us alone.

She walked towards me and stood just beside me. "What bhai-sa?".

"I'm sorry, Ishi. I know I should have shared about this with you. And I'm sorry that I asked Jahanvi to keep it hidden from you."

She shook her head, "The problem is — you never considered me that close. Am I right?"

I shook my head immediately and reached out for her hand, "Are you mad? You're my baby sister. I've always pampered you and loved you more than even Krishiv. And I love you even more than I love your bestfriend. So, please don't say that, Ishi."
