We reached the hotel at night. Having finished our dinner together in the dining area, I moved to my room. Although I was tired, sleep was no where near my eyes. I sat by the window after changing my clothes into pajama and full sleeved tshirt. I was adoring the mesmerizing view of mountains.
At the back of my mind, I knew that Dev will come on his own to my room when he'll get a chance. And I was just waiting. Also, I needed to talk with my Maa-sa and Bapu-sa at home. But there was no network.
I sat for half-an-hour, listening to pre-downloaded songs. Their was a knock on my door. I stood up in excitement to open it, knowing that who it must be.
But my expressions changed when I saw an assistant standing there on the entrance.
"Yes?".
He forwarded me a card, "Sir asked me to give this card to you."
I frowned, "Which Sir?".
"Sir, Devansh sir."
I gave him a nod with a smile. I opened the card and read inside, it was written in his handwriting,
'Come to the terrace, the assistant will take you there. I'm waiting.~ Your Dev.'
My Dev.
"Come, ma'am," the assistant said. I nodded my head, picking up my phone, and locking my door, I walked along with him. We reached the terrace and I greeted a thanks to him. As soon as I entered inside, in a swift motion, I was lifted up in the air, after he locked the door of the terrace.
"Dev."
"Shhhh."
He walked along with me, towards the centre of terrace. Few candles were burning around in the terrace and there lay mattresses and cushions on the floor. He placed me gently on the mattress. The entire view infront of my eyes was so beautiful. Luckily there were no clouds in the sky, it was a perfect day for stargazing. Candles burning, and vases kept on the floor, adorned with rose flowers were creating a perfect romantic sanctuary for us.
I looked into his eyes. His eyes were fixed into mine. He was still sitting. I spread my arms infront of him. He shook his head. I raised my body up and wrapped my arms around him. Slowly, I pulled him closer and made him lie down along with me, his head on my chest and his hand holding my waist.
We were quiet. Just feeling the warmth of each other.
"Dev."
He hummed. "Are you okay?". He hummed again.
I cupped his cheek and made him look up at me. He smiled lightly.
"Aren't you feeling cold?", he asked. I nodded my head. It was really cold outside. He sat up and unfolded the blanket. Covering both of us with it, he took me in his arms. I placed my head on his chest, holding his torso with my hand.
