A Suitor

(Luisa POV)

I woke in the morning and took a minute to look at my beautiful girlfriend, we had been dating a few weeks now and I was still amazed at how I was dating someone as perfect as her, I was so lucky.

I started my morning workout while she slowly woke up and saw me working out and said "good morning mi amor, is breakfast soon?"

"no, we still have about an hour, can you come help me out?" i was starting on my push ups

"of course, need help with your push ups again?"

"yeah"

she slowly got up and walked over to sit on my back, and started chatting while counting for me

"1, what are you going to today, 2"

"ill try for 100"

"3, so i'll be sitting, 4, here awhile, 5"

"yep"

I continued and by 40 i'm pretty sure she had fallen asleep on my back, judging from the lack of counting and the light snoring, then I heard a knock at my door and quickly moved her to the floor while my door opened, revealing my mama

"oh your still working out, well breakfast is ready mija"

and then she left, so I shook awake Alana who grumbled "i'm awake, i'm awake, come on lets head to breakfast"

i'm pretty sure I had hit a hundred so we headed down to eat, sitting down and about to dig in when abuela cleared her throat to get everyone's attention

"as you all know today is our abuelos birthday, and encantos birthday as well" she looked sad for a moment before looking back up in excitement "the celebrations will last all day, to celebrate how he sacrificed his life to give us a better one"

Alana looked at me in confusion, so I had to explain to her "well, we celebrate our abuelos sacrifice every year by having a siesta all day, fireworks and such, and at night everyone dances and drinks, then at midnight the couples kiss"

she gave me a little smirk on the last fact and I giggled, then abuela continued

"and I have some amazing news, I have found a husband for-" Isabela let out a loud sigh, knowing what was coming

"ahem, for Luisa"

I spat out the water in my mouth and everyone looked at me in surprise, so I cleared my throat and attempted a weak smile "that's great, who is it"

"his name is Andres and hes probably on his way right now, Dolores?"

"he's on his way right now, he's 5 minutes away"

I excused myself from the table and went to my room, with Alana trailing behind, I sat on my bed and groaned while she tried to come up with something

"I think we'll have to tell them soon"

I looked at her in surprise "I can't do that, not just yet, if this guy thinks he's in love then I just gotta make him fall out of love"

I went to the bathroom and got changed, putting on those pants as I had ripped my dress yet again, I did like wearing them sometimes but it was easier to move in the dress, I put on my regular top and went back downstairs.
at the door was a man with almost shoulder length hair and a small mustache, he ran to greet me and grabbed my hand with his considerably smaller one, bringing it up to his mouth and kissing it

"hola, my name is Andres, and I already know who you are"

I was a little repulsed and replied "um yeah, well i'm gonna get started on chores now"
