summary- after they find they enter the house and realize what the guy did to Mirabel, Luisa goes Omni-man on him.

(No POV, following Luisa)

Luisa sat at the table with other girls her age, she contributed to the conversation a little but her social skills were kind of... rusty, she hadn't really ever had time for chatting for the last 15 years, and certainly not chatting to girls her own age. she was lost in thought, not following the conversation until she heard her name called

"Luisa!"

"huh? what? what it is?"

"we just wanted to know your favourite animal, it can be real or fake"

she was a little reluctant to answer, afraid of being mocked, but didn't want to lie either

"it's- um, it's a unicorn"

one of the girls, pretty sure her name was Bryn, looked excited

"I knew it would be something cool, see guys, Luisa might look a little scary but I promise she's just a big softie, she couldn't hurt a fly"

Bryn had talked to her most throughout the night, she was the one that invited her to her circle of friends and she seemed to like hanging out with Luisa and getting to know her better, which people rarely did, often put off my her intimidating appearance.

Luisa had opened her mouth to say something when she was interrupted by Mateo who looked panicked while he asked "Luisa! have you seen Mirabel? I left for one second and now she's gone!"

"no, I haven't, let's go ask Dolores"

she stood up an started seeing the family crowd around Dolores, so she grabbed Isa and yelled "DOLORES!"

Dolores covered her ears and Isa apologized, and explained "Lola, we need to find Mirabel, she's not here, we've checked everywhere!" and she gripped Luisas hand for comfort and everyone went quiet, seeing the look of concentration on Doloress face, then her eyes shot open, surprising the group around her, and she got up and headed towards the exit with the whole family behind her.

Camilo tried to talk but Isa shut him up as the look of concentration was coming to Doloress face again, Mariano went and kissed her on the forehead while tears spilled out of her eyes

"Mariano... I can't hear her. I can't..."

Mariano hugged her to his chest while she strained her ears, trying to hear more, then she suddenly pulled apart from Mariano, making everyone look in confusion, Camilo whisper questioned her this time but was shut up by Isa again, Dolores concentrated on a small whisper

"Lo...lo. Lola"

"shut up. kiss back"

she could hear tears hit bedsheets and her eyes snapped open, burning with fire as she realized her prima was not alone

"that house! NOW!" she commanded pointing at a house on the street and everyone ran to it, Camilo telling someone to call Julieta and Pepa while Isa took the lead, she kicked down that door and they ran upstairs, Dolores reaching the next door first

she viciouly ripped open that door and snapped.

it took her a moment to process what she was seeing as everyone else caught up to her and froze in shock at the sight inside.
