"Can I read it?" Chika asked after she had eaten and left the canteen with Kaede. Given the time of day, reading this text would certainly still be possible.

"It's just an apology..." mumbled Kaede, who had put the sheets of paper in a folder and held it out. "I told you I'd like to give you my opinion." Chika smiled and opened the folder with satisfaction.

How she managed to do this while running was a mystery to Kaede. Her own eyes were focused more on the corridor so that Chika wouldn't run into anyone.

A small group came towards her in the corridor, which Kaede immediately spotted. "That's really good!" came Chika's voice, who had looked up briefly and flinched. A lump made itself felt in her throat, which she tried to swallow. Chika was just waiting for another comment about her blemished skin, but there was none.

Her eyes turned to Kaede, who had averted her gaze from them, as these perpetrators passed by. For a brief moment, Chika had been able to perceive a respectful aura that had passed between the leader and Kaede.

"What...was that?" the gray-haired girl mumbled. "Don't think about it anymore. I think they'll leave you in peace."

"You think so? Why don't you look at me?" Chika said, pointing to her face. "I do." "I mean, really!" the girl pleaded.

Not knowing what Chika wanted from her now, Kaede tilted her head a little. "You can see that! Right?" came out of her mouth, which is why Kaede had now narrowed her eyes a little and leaned towards her face.

"Now that you mention it..." Kaede murmured softly. "You still have some soy sauce." she pointed out to Chika, pointing to the corner of her mouth. "You're only saying that now!" exclaimed the gray-haired girl, who had wiped it with the back of her hand to get rid of it.

"I wasn't looking that closely. That's what you wanted." Opening her mouth, Chika closed it again briefly. She had actually wanted to address all her pimples and acne. She really didn't care what she looked like. That made Chika more than happy.

"So...you think the text is good?" asked Kaede, who already knew what Chika wanted to say.

But she didn't want to unsettle her any further and had deliberately turned her thoughts to something else.

"More than just good! Especially the middle part when you went into detail and described the situation in detail." Chika started to say cheerfully and ended up going into more and more detail in the paragraphs.

"You should really start writing this. And I'm talking about a real book!" smiled Chika, which wasn't the first time Kaede had heard that. Kazumi had already told her the same thing.

It was just that Kaede was very unsure about this topic alone. Basically, she wasn't ashamed of anything she wrote. But writing her own book, which might even be published, was a completely different matter.

"And I'll be your first fan to read the whole book!" Chika grinned, which pleased Kaede on the one hand, but silenced her on the other.
