"What are you doing here?" Kaede asked the young man, who had never expected to see his face here. "I'm the owner of Onigiri-Miya and I'm actually always at games like this. Mainly when my brother is playing." Osamu explained immediately and looked at the young woman in front of him.

"This Ojiro in your novel is me, isn't he?" the Miya asked immediately, holding up the book. "You...read it...?" Kaede breathed, blushing slightly. "Yes, after all, you wrote it as well as you could throughout high school."

The two of them fell silent for a moment. Kaede didn't feel as comfortable as she should have. "Kaede..." "I broke up with Dai, by the way." Kaede said, simply wanting to change the subject. "It...wasn't right anymore and Dai became more and more toxic over time. So..." , Kaede explained simply and smiled slightly.

"You must surely have a girlfriend by now." , the Tokoyami continued, which made Osamu smile slightly. "To be honest, no. I was waiting for a certain absent writer trapped in her own world." came out of him rather calmly with a hint of provocation.

"...Huh...?" Kaede swallowed at his words. Her heart began to race as she realized his words. No, he hadn't been waiting for her. Not ever. "Funny enough," she realized pretty much everything except for that one thing. "I guess I should have thrown something at you so you'd notice."

Ashamed, Kaede looked away from Osamu. So he had always had feelings for her? Was that why she had always felt comfortable with him? Had she chosen him as the main protagonist? Had her subconscious told her that she liked him too? Probably yes. Because once while writing, she had had the thought of falling in love with him.

"Kaede..." she heard her name and almost couldn't look at him. "You could have talked to all of us." he said about the topics she had written in. Osamu was actually the first to notice his role. Chika and Megumi had taken a while to understand and had been there for her every day after the book was published.

"I..couldn't..." the twenty-five year old breathed. "But...you're actually the first one who probably recognized himself right away." came out of her, slightly jokingly, to distract her again.

"The number eleven on Ojiro's jersey was very clear." Osamu said. Great, she could have guessed that this number was the deciding factor for him. "And you actually wrote certain situations exactly as they happened. Especially when it came to my part."

Kaede could have guessed that too. She should probably have paid a little more attention when writing. "Well...welcome to my life..." the brown-haired girl breathed out, as she couldn't talk her way out of it anyway. So the truth came out with Osamu too.

"But, you've written it really well so that people don't immediately know that it's about your life." Osamu praised the young woman and thought the novel was really very good. It was actually perfect in his eyes. Nevertheless, he couldn't resist showing off his provocative nature, which is why he started to grin slightly.

"So the backpack thrower has feelings for me." he addressed the last topic in the novel, which had made Kaede blush more than once.
