The cheers of the fans could be heard while the Inarizaki booed their opponents and deliberately disrupted their rhythm with their orchestra. A very disgusting attitude for Kaede. However, she didn't want to get involved, as she didn't really understand the commotion anyway. Maybe it was because she had her own world in the books.

"I can't believe it..." Megumi mumbled between shouts, which Kaede couldn't really hear. A gentle nudge brought Kaede slightly out of her thoughts. "Hm?" came from her questioningly.

"How can you write something in your notes during an important game?" Megumi asked her friend, who was just finishing a sentence. "I have a few ideas..." Kaede admitted and wrote down a few things she wanted to use for Osamu's part in her book.

Her plan was to give Kyoko a boy with whom she got on very well and could confide in. While writing, Kaede didn't even really realize that she had let her own feelings towards the Miya flow in. Deep down, she probably already had feelings for Osamu. But she was with Dai, whom she actually still loved. No matter what had happened.

"Oh..." Megumi mumbled, looking at the field with her gray-green eyes. She had been able to follow the game relatively well. But there were moments when the players were far too fast. Especially this number ten of the Karasuno.

"Tell me...how do you perceive Atsumu?" asked Kaede, who had raised her head briefly and could see the Hayashi's slightly reddened cheeks. "Why...are you asking...?" she asked uncertainly. "Just because."

Kaede realized that Megumi wouldn't really talk about it if she told her that those feelings should come in the novel. Megumi only knew minor passages where her feelings were brought out.

The black-haired girl didn't realize that Mei was actually her. To be on the safe side, Kaede had described each person differently in terms of their appearance. The eye colors and hair colors were different.

"Well...I do like him...somehow..." Megumi suddenly admitted shyly, which Kaede found very sweet. "But I don't want him to be laughed at because of me..."

Kaede understood her problem. She was probably afraid that Atsumu would also suffer because of her name. "Atsumu doesn't even think about that. And no one would even dare laugh at him." the brown-haired girl smiled.

"He'd rather provoke people, insult them coldly in some way and then that's it. So don't worry about that issue." Megumi mumbled quietly to herself. "But..."

"Nothing but. Tell him how you feel, even if it's hard for you. But see it as a challenge to fight your insecurities. More than rejecting you won't happen. But the way I see it, he'll say something provocative, grin, but take you seriously."

"That's easy for you to say. You almost always get each other down." , Megumi spoke, knowing herself that she should keep working on her.

"Hm, I think our strange friendship is making quite a bit of progress because of you." Kaede thought about it and had to lower her head a little with a grin. Yes, somehow this hateful friendship was developing into a fairly normal friendship because of Megumi.
