The Miyagi-Do students stood in the backyard wearing their official white training gi's. They were so happy that their Sensei had decided to open the dojo back up after the attack from the Cobras and the school brawl.

Demetri had finally gotten the large cast taken off and now only had his arm in a sling which was more manageable for him.

Sam was glad that she came back and didn't lose to fear like her dad said.

Also in a gi, Daniel addressed his students, "I know it's been a while since our last class. After the fight at the school, I wasn't sure Miyagi-Do should stay open. But things have gotten worse since we shut down. That's why we're back. The only way to stop Cobra Kai is if we all work together. But always remember, the reason we learn karate is self defense. Now is the time to show them forgiveness. Compassion. Mr. Miyagi used to say if you're looking for revenge, you could start by digging two graves. He was right. If you have hate in your heart, then you've already lost. I know it's not easy, but you have to do whatever you can to do that. Can you?"

"Yes. Sensei!" They shouted in unison.

After the speech, they began their kata training.

In the park, the Eagles congregated in a line with their red T-shirts on imprinted with an eagle's face on it. Its fangs were bared and dripped blood. On the back had the words: Bite like an eagle.

Their Sensei stood in front of them in a black Eagle Fang T-shirt with no sleeves with the same image on the front and his signature headband. He began the lesson by giving his students a good pep talk.

"Cobra Kai needs to go down. But always remember, the reason we learn karate is to show the world that you're not a bunch of pansy-ass nerds! We're gonna show 'em that you're tough! Because eagles don't get shit on. They're the ones that do the shitting."

Miguel and Phoebe chuckled a little at Johnny's normal unorthodox speech.

"Just don't forget, being a badass doesn't mean being an asshоlе. The goal isn't to hurt other kids. The goal is to beat the living crap out of 'em." His students exhaled sharply at this. "Don't let 'em push you around. You gotta swoop down like an eagle, grab 'em with your claws, and sink your fangs into 'em. But I don't ever want you to start the fight. I just want you to defend yourself doing whatever is necessary during it. Am I clear?"

"Yes, Sensei!"

Phoebe leaned in to her best friend, "I think I need to file my nails into talons, what do you say?" She giggled.

Miguel smiled in approval.

The Eagles began their drills of front jab punch after front jab punch.

Hawk stood in formation along with the others and with Tory next to him. They looked upon their Sensei with pride and loyalty.

Kreese stood opposite them with the creed on the wall behind him. Everyone stood at attention like they were soldiers in an army. Because they were, and he was their general. He addressing them as such. "Win at all costs. Those we thought to be our allies have turned against us." He told them.

In their minds, they thought of Phoebe changing sides, and Miguel's misguided loyalty to Johnny. But they didn't need them anymore, they had champions of both sexes in Hawk and Tory.

Hawk knew that's how everyone felt even during his birthday house party. But it didn't deter him from his mission or wanting to protect his girlfriend from the Cobras.
