The presence of NishadhaRaj and Second Nishadha Rani stayed beside fainted pregnant lady on each side of the side as they sat in the silence before the Dwarka Rajkumari glance at her husband.
Frown on his flawless face, worry shinning on those hickory coloured eyes, clenched fists with gentle grip around the hand of fainted Nishadha Rani, body tensed yet relaxed.
It is the second time after the first marriage week where she felt like a third wheel in this relationship. Up until now, Dushala was her best friend and crime in partner while he was her mentor and on the process friend but today, today it feels different.
Her eyes caught the happiness, proud, concern, panick, all the ongoing emotions on her husband's face upon hearing the news from doctor. Not a single glance came towards her from then on as she again got reminded of the fact that it is Dushala who is his first and only love of his life and no one can take that away.
Her breathe quickened, realising she is feeling jealousy towards her kanya Vidyalaya (girls school) best friend but soon came out of sheer internal panick when a hand on her shoulder as she look up to find herself staring into those concern full hickory eyes.
"Subhadra! Are you alright? What happened?"
The swirling covetousness inside her only made her feel unworthy of the worry in those eyes as she nodded, looking her best friend's feet with guilt and pain before leaving the room abruptly.
The tinkling sound of anklets run through the Corridor until it stopped as two fragile hands grab the corridor railing for support while heavy breathes left her lungs.
"how can I?.................How can you Subhadra? To your own best friend?"
Rubbing her face, she pushed her hair strands back while her eyes frantically wander around. Her panick subsided upon hearing the sounds of footsteps.
------------------------------------------------------
"where are you Subhadra? Why did she left like that?"
"whom are you finding?"
"Ashwatthama? I don't think this should be the place you should be standing right now?"
"not at all but my humble guest, friend is wandering alone in the corridor at night when his wife is...............I thought I should be present here"
The Nishadha Raj sighs before muttering out "Subhadra left the room panicking and I on my way to find her"
"why?"
The assassin guild leader stare at his best friend like he has seen weird creature as he spoke out "Are you seriously?..............She panickingly ran away-"
"I mean, what about Dushala? Maybe Subhadra just need some time alone?" Ashwatthama says casually..........too casually but Ekalavya was too much in confusion to notice that as he nodded "maybe..............but why would she need time alone?"
"dunno" The Kashi Raj noticed a folded royal envelope in his friend's hand making him ask out "what is this?"
Ekalavya blinked, glancing at the envelope in his hand before tilting his head with a sigh "just came, divorce papers-"
"divorce papers? Of whom?"
"of me and Subhadra" The clicking of tongue can be heard in reply but the newly married groom decided to ignore that as he placed his comforting hand on his friend's shoulder "it would be good if you stay with Dushala today. She needs you when she wake up beside Subhadra might be tired, maybe that's why she left and panick must be of remembering something, you can ask tomorrow about it"
